You could definitely try that! It might be messy to run through your machine.
When I ink my embossing folder, I used the SSS saturated ink pad, the ink beads up on folder? How do I stop the beading?
Since it's plastic, you will get some beading, so just lean into the splotchy effect. You can also spritz it with water.
