Reminds me of growing up in this childrens home called “Sunshine acres “ was a Christian home
I went to when my mom was on drugs
Spent a good part of my life there and made a lot of memories with kids I was close with …..I don’t even know where their at now
Im an adult now ……this music (Christian rock ) brings so much emotion back …times back then were simplistic and better than now….
Never gets old! Still listening in 2023!
The feeling you get, when you think you got it all figured out, about being hurt
I relate to this song so much, I have continuous mental wounds from so much trauma and fights, some I still have stuck in the back of my mind, also that guitar rift at the beginning, nearly tears me up everytime I hear it.
Crazy how you can trick yourself into thinking that your over that one thing that crushed your soul.. time passes and the older you get, you come to realize that pain will never go away.. it just becomes a little more bearable.
That feeling when you've been through so much stress and hurt and so much emotional truama and abuse that you become numb feeling that you can't cry anymore even when you're sad, and you look up why then you put this song on and everything just comes back and you cry everything out.
I'm 9 when this song came out and now I'm 20, the lyrics is so true.

Haa, this brings back so many good memories, especially from elementary school :D Those were awesome days, I can't believe that I still miss it so much. I can't believe it hurts like this.

I'm in a similar position since years ago. We used to be together all day every day as kids but some years ago she just stopped calling/texting and ignored me (and my other friends) for no reason. She does say "hi" if we ever meet but it's not like it was... :(
I've tried to dismiss the fights her and I got into. I said so many wrong things, to the person I loved. Then everything was fine up until Christmas last year. She left me without a warning. and she was the one I loved dearly. After eight years, I won't ever get over it. even when I'm old, "I should've weathered the storm." that right there is what gets me the most.
Jenna if you read this from me, I'm sorry if you can find it in your heart to forgive me I would be forever grateful

Yeah I don’t have a chance with the girl I lost. She has brain damage from what I’m told I rather her be happy with whatever happiness she can get I miss her thought about her today and haven’t gotten over it after 3 years. The only time in my life I was happy.
