- Did you know, veterans are 1.5 times more likely to die by suicide than Americans who never served in the military. For female veterans, the risk factor is 2.2 times more likely. But, Why? Well, welcome to my 2021 project announcement. This year was just the right push to use my video productions talents to help others. I want to take a look into this very real topic, disparage stereotypes and educate people on the problems, and some resources available to help.
“Life After Death: Survivors or Veteran Suicide”, a full documentary, will dig deeper into the epidemic of suicide. We will interview families, behavioral health professionals, as well as veterans who have attempted suicide. This documentary will hit home many ‘un-talked-about’ topics such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, TBI, addiction, recovery and relapse. I want to help make this a conversation worth having with people who struggle, and bring topics to light to help give people the tools needed to look into their futures. What to do if you think someone you love is struggling? What to say? Maybe someone will watch the documentary and it will help them in ways we don’t know yet. This has been a personal goal of mine for many years but I always put it off. Well, 2021 is the year!
Veterans' Perspective is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization. Our mission is to record and preserve our county's history through the 1st person stories of our military veterans. UA-cam makes them globally accessible. Each and every veteran has a story to share.

@Mighty Mouse Girlfriend everone who faught in ww1, ww2 and vietnam is a war hero in my eyes. And the way I look at it, every man, friend.or enemy was fighting for the same thing, his family, or his family's home.
