Path of Titans is an MMO dinosaur video game currently in active development for home computers and mobile devices fully compatible with cross platform play. Play as one of 18 core dinosaurs in a rich ecosystem filled with complex AI creatures and up to 200 other players. Something a bit different this time. Let me know what dinos/Servers you guys recommend me playing
If you'll allow me to share a bit of an opinion: try not to get intimated by everything you come across, your side to side movements makes it seem like You're the one who wants to fight, if you calmly try to move past them you'll avoid an unwinnable fight, this is just my opinion tho so please play how who want to play, just wanted to give some friendly advice ❤
You might wanna try the Crimson community server. ( semi-realism but you'll grow faster than on official )
Or Juniper's if you want some pvp practice ( you'll be insta adult due to it being a deathmatch server )
Just bear in mind that unless its a KOS community server, most have simple rules such as no mixpacking, no 3rd partying, body down, etc :)

- You will get trophies only by killing Full Adult dinos, In official you will get growth worth 5-10 quests.
- try using precise movement, It's like dibble spare mod if I say it like that.
- I recommend you playing servers that have faster growth and more marks For start, but you can also play Semi-Realism/Realism server, I recommend You checking TheCrimsonIsle community.
- Try playing smaller dinos And not apexs as a start.

I would recommend playing allo on a pvp server to learn skills and ask more experienced players for advice as it helps a lot as a new player once your better at the game go back on official (if you want) as you will stand more of a chance against everyone
Spino is already hard enough to grow, but on officials 😭

@warmarionette3292 for real I like officials it's just that people are more toxic and it Needs passive growth
As a Path of Titans spinosaurus main, I’d recommend doing a full swim build since that’s your sub species by adding drenched blows and switching out stomp for webbed feet and your tail attack for paddle tail. It’ll allow you to keep up with Saros and water and helps maneuverability swimming. Another safe option is just switching out your tail tag for paddle tail and keeping stop so when you’re on the land, it gives you the ability to fight off the mid to low tiers. Another alternative is to change your sub spec to an armor build (essentially more health at the cost of being slower water) and using lone Survivor for additional armor on top of the species armor stomp and tail attack (paddle tail to make up for some of that swim speed loss). At the cost of swim your gaining a significant amount of armor through survivor of the species and armor hide which gives you ability to fight in water and land. As an Apex, you truly can fight most mid/low tier in a 2v1 or even a 3v1 depending on the Dino’s. I didn’t straight up face battle as far as Apex go you’re probably third on the list compared to Eo and Rex due to Spinos less damage output, even though it has higher health (spino 55 per bite and Rex 80 I believe in addition to Rex ability called “face tank” which reduces damage to face and neck). Hopefully this helps a little bit and if you’ve got any questions just reply to this! I’ve got close to 300 hours on spino alone👍🏼

But what If i get a swim spino with a tanky build(without stomp) IS It gonna work?
@@josewayneoninguemd7740 I personally feel like whatever you build needs to specialize in just that. If you do a swim speed you want to be able to maneuver and deal max damage while swimming (Sarcs are always a hard fight unless you can keep up and constantly attack them) if your play style prefers half and half its doable but from personal exp you would either be the best at one thing or implement like one attribute to try to build bulk.
I love this, but my only fear is that sarco asphyxiation bite and not being able to outstam or swim away for more space to attack I'm full aquatic as well have you had any experience dealing with sarco asphyxiation bite???

So it seems a lot of people haven’t pointed a lot out. So I’ll try my best.
1. Precise movement has already been explained. So try and use those in fights.
2. Your attacks have a cool-down. So people will bait them out to get free hits in. Be careful using your attacks, like that hatz was doing, baiting out your tail attacks.
3. When you go to drink, it will actually tell you if it’s fresh water or salt water. So read the prompt before you drink. The map will also show you were water is. All water inland/ separated from the ocean with waterfalls is fresh water. All water connected to the ocean, is salt water. So look at your map. It will help you.
4. Try to keep your food and water above 60%-50% at all times. You heal faster when you’re full food and water.
5. As a spino, try to stay near the water as much as possible, it will save you from mixpackers who can’t swim. And while questing, always watch behind you. People will try and sneak up on you.
6. Laying down makes you take more damage and sleeping will triple that normal damage.
7. Teabagging-crouching in place quickly is usually a sign of peace and friendliness, however be careful of EVERYONE on offical. Offical also has no passive growth, so you have to quest. If you’d like to grow a little faster, go on a community server. Different servers have different growing times.
8. Group quests, which you get while being in a group will give you more growth and more coins. They’re green. Red quests are called your personal quests.
9. I forgot about trophy’s lol.) So, full adult Dino’s will drop trophy’s if you kill them. Take them to homecaves to get extra growth.

Was nice watching someone begin of POT official. Would like to see you play more on official. I highly recommend using your precise movement. It allows you to turn in place. You can set it to a key in your control settings. Good luck out there. And when your growing. Try being stealthy when people are near (running is loud). And rule #1 trust no body
I thought precise movement was just for more accurate bites. Didnt know about the movement part, thanks!
Some tips I haven't seen from anyone else yet:
- Most species take a whole lot of more damage when hit on the head, and less damage when hit on the tail. Some don't follow this rule and some have abilities that reduce damage on certain parts of the body, like one of the sarco tail abilities that basically makes them take almost no damage on the tail.
- You can still hurt and kill your teammates, so when fighting as a group you have to be careful not to hit each other. But this also means that when fighting groups you can try to make them accidentally hit each other. Try to always put yourself in a spot where you can't get sandwiched inbetween them and keep the ones you're not targeting on the move by being on the opposite side of your target (forcing them to either bite through their friend or go around).
- All playables have unique playstyles (some are similar to other playables, but small differences make even them unique). Try to find the playstyle you enjoy the most. Offense or defense, ambushing or chasing, fleeing or standing your ground. Trying to use a playable for a purpose it's not suited to may be challenging.
Lastly, I know everyone said this but officials are a no-go zone for any regular player. They harbor everyone who either have or would be banned from servers with rules. It's basically heaven for kosers and mixpackers, and toxicity in general.

im unsure if precise movement has already been explained but if you hold down x you can turn on the spot and also hold down s to walk backwards if your holding x.

i dont own PoT myself because im young, and i dont own a card, or a computer to play the game but i'll most likely save up to get a computer, or even a gaming laptop one day. anyway have a blessed day bro

Do yourself a favor and don't play on official servers, mixpackers, overpackers, general disarray. A good community server is easy enough to find and generally has better people on it due to moderation.

U can grow faster on red island which is furthest south and the surrounding areas around the island on official. Spino is one of the hardest to grow as everyone is after u lol.
My first Dino was a spino and it took me a week to grow to adulthood. I probably could have done it a lot faster but I’m a passive player and don’t like to kos. Red island is the key, TRUST NO ONE!!!
If you haven't already I suggest changing the controls to similar to the controls on the isle

It says salt water your water drains fast if you drink it
It says water if its fresh
If you want to check dinos out without having to grow I highly recommend the juniper deathmatch servers. They have modded and unmodded servers, you spawn in fully grown with all the marks you'll need, if you die you lose nothing. You can practice some combat but unless you ask for 1v1s you'll probably find you'll get jumped. Out of the dm servers its pretty light on its rules as well. I can't rec any other servers really since I really on enjoy deathmatch, hope you find one though, I hear a lot like islanders servers.
Also don't listen to the isle players who trash on pot, most of the problems they have with pot the isle also suffers from, balance, toxic players, nothing to do, ect. One of the only things the two don't have in common is hackers, wont say they are impossible in pot I just haven't seen any in the few years I've played while I see videos all the time on hacking in the isle lmao.

@Even6 yeah pot devs take hacking seriously as well as performance. They were pretty regularly testing 200 player servers and really trying to beef up servers so ai can be added. I'm definitely excited for what they plan to bring
I love POT, my one gripe is how long it takes to grow in official. Why they refuse to add passive growth even a little bit really bugs me.
Passive growth would be nice
This is just personal preference but you should pick defense instead of health recovery since spino has mid defense for an apex. I know your new but just in case you plan to grow another spino, maybe go for defense (not forcing you to)

I love both path of titans and the isle yet isle players hate PoT
I’m an ex-PoT player but I watch videos like these from time to time. The isle is just 100x more realistic and immersive than Path’s arcade fight simulator

Path with the lone wolf skill have some incentives to be a solo player, I wish the game had more of these neat little bonus, naturaly keeping big dinos solo, maybe a buff debuff innate should be awesome

PoT is kinda more my speed. I kinda like the casual play session with friends as The Isle seems to be more for the more, paleo enthusiasts. Plus, PoT is easier to get into honestly.

Maybe...but PoT has the benefit of allowing console players to play a game like this. The isle devs said they don't want to port to console. Dumb idea imo.
