First off, very glad to hear your wife is OK! My Garmin has incident detection, and after some thought I disabled it. My partner has seen me come home bloody and scratched up after a couple of spills (both my own carelessness) and has freaked out about that. The thought of her getting an alert because a passerby (depicted twice in the corporate PR) nudged the bike or it was blown over by the wind while I was relieving myself at a convenience store far overwhelms the much less likely probability of me being involved in an accident. Instead I make sure to check in with her regularly and give her an estimate of when I'll return. In that case if something happens she'll know to question me within a reasonable timeframe and have a pretty good (plus/minus half an hour) idea of where I last checked in. Granted not nearly as accurate as incident detection might be, but saves a lot of wear and tear on the heart from false positives.
I've seen on the electroheads review this isn't as light as they claim, the 12.5kg weight is without the battery. I've been a huge fan of 20 inch folding e bikes, they are a fantastic form factor and can revolutionise many people's travel in cities. Hope the Mrs is ok, I stacked it a couple weeks ago, those wet leaves are dangerous!
Ahh! My weekly therapy! Thanx again Craig, always fun videos I look forward to them so! I got my refill of stickers recently & now have a coveted Bulky Boy Bike Club, sticker!!! See,folx,it's the small things!😂❤
I prefer the Brompton for a folding bike with no electronics. The safety feature you can get it on a smart watch with crash detection. Electronics and bikes are not useful on the longterm. Did I mention I have a Vanmoof completely useless because Vanmoof went bankrupt and the company that bought the assets don't want to make spare parts for me S2 model, a model from 2019.
as tragic as that story goes, I believe this feature would be good for those who are doing solo long rides. but without any cellular data in the area, this could be a dud feature.

I'll be honest, my eyes usually glaze over when high-tech e-Bikes are reviewed, but I was absolutely drawn in by your account.
Great vid. Looks like a nice bike. How did you film yourself on it? 😮

Garmin has a simmiliar feature.
I thought you were gonna say a massive airbag inflated in an accident or something haha.
