One hack I heard is that if you’re throwing out a lot of fruits from those drawers then reorganize it to be sugary/non perishable foods in those drawers (like soda, candies, etc). Cause humans are naturally very lazy and will grab the first thing they see. So if you put the unhealthy & nonperishable/longer lasting stuff at the back, bottom or in drawers they won’t be used as quickly, and the healthy (usually expensive & perishable) stuff front and center they won’t be thrown out as often. Especially with kids.

Idk why everyone's so opinionated? I love the organization, my family puts all kinds of fruits and veggies in the fridge. It prolongs the freshness, I don't really like cold fruit so I let it sit out of the fridge for 20-30 minutes before eating them but my family doesn't have a problem with this method and our fruits can last the whole week (6-7 days) rather than ripening too quickly and lasting 3-4 days.

Carrying the baby was a downer for me. This looks just like my fridge. I removed all my shelves and cleaned them meticulous. It was really hard work putting everything back, especially the glass top. My fridge hadn't been cleaned in a very long time. It's good to get ideas from others.

Take care of the water, when you wash it, turn off the tap so as not to waste the water. Take care And with the vegetables that no longer serve you can make compost, how? Put it on the plastas and thus help them grow healthy and beautiful.
Thanks for sharing a real fridge with real food. Only suggestion, consider composting. Since we started composting, are garbage has gone down considerably and we end up with a lot of good compost for our yard.

I have stopped using chemicals and detergents for fridge and freezer cleaning (i mean cleaning their interior). I use a tissue towel with vinegar instead. Vinegar decreases microbe build-up

My dad used to work in refrigerated transport, and even then said they are meant to be kept at room temperature. Or if it's really hot in a dark cool place like a pantry/cupboard.
Fresh eggs directly from the chicken (such as those in a backyard) should be kept out of the fridge. They have a protective coating on them to keep them from going back. Once in the fridge, don't take them back out to leave out. It's one or the other. BUT, if you buy eggs from a grocery store, those are commercially farmed eggs which means they've been washed prior to packaging and selling. Therefore, no protective coating. They must go in the fridge. So basically, farm fresh direct from the chicken's butt, on the counter. Commercially produced/sold, into the fridge.
Ignore the hate what I have seen others have said the same. I store lot of my fruits and stuff in the fridge as well not only do they stay fresher longer but it keeps gnats away or that fruit flies whatever people call them. I do have to ask where do you store leftovers cuz your fridge is full? And I'm jealous of how your shelves are I've got skinny ones that go from side to side cuz my fridge and freezer are side to side and it makes it very hard to really store stuff
What do you use keep the scuffs off your sink? Look like mine. This how your suppose to store food top to bottom: Top shelve ready eat food doesn't need be cooked (dairy, fruit, vegetables, lunch meat etc), seafood, whole cut beef/ pork , ground meat/seafood, then ground/ pieces/whole poultry bottom shelf or drawer. If wonder how doesn't leak should invest in good plastic containers never leave it sitting in the fridge or it will leak on top of other food.
Finally a real fridge looks like my fridge right now can't wait to organize mine 😊

It works well to put your drawers and shelves in the tub to clean them. More room and easier to not get water all over. Great job. It looks wonderful

I live in AZ it gets extremely humid and hot we always put all our fruits and veggies including onions in the fridge. It doesn’t go bad as fast

I started canning vegetables and pureed things like garlic so that it didn't go bad before I use it or freezing herbs

The milk wasn’t out of the fridge that long... only for a couple of minutes. Milk takes over a week or month for it to spoil (same with fruit)
