Thx for the upload - The quality isnt too bad considering the conversion from VHS tape...Was Troy Corser taking a spell from WSBK Championship? Its interesting the Sheene mentioned that in '95 Japanese Earthquake impacted Dunlop racing tyre production...

There wasn't a WSBK round on that weekend, so obviously he was able to commentate on this race.
Also, I'm going to admit this, the audio on this tape used to be in stereo, but it now only plays in mono. I think my old VCR might have erased the stereo proprieties on the tape when it started going "cuckoo" last year.
I'm pretty sure Dunlop's Kobe factory in Japan was leveled by the earthquake earlier that year and it affected a lot of the Dunlop-shod teams in various motorsport categories (such as the ATCC, 500s, etc.) as they often had to run Dunlop rubber that was nowhere as good as the Japanese produced ones'.

@@TrickyMario7654 Yeah the Dunlop factory was badly damaged in the quake. Sadly Sumitomo Rubber invested almost nothing into the Fort Dunlop factory in Birmingham England over the years (there's no tyre production at all now there, it's office space now) and the quake bit them hard. I seem to remember the Dunlop runners were at times running Dunlop fronts and Michelin production rears that year.

That was in Kobe. At that time I bought tires for some friends in order to be able to come to Brno at all. Were just the tires.

hey Tricky......what was the race----so close for loads of laps, (i think Donny, Shwantz? Rainy? Doohan? maybe not sure of the riders, but i think or pretty sure, it was Donington Park )on 500 strokers, very close? it was USA riders, maybe Aus, and who knows, (cant remember but not Barros. Cadalora, etc, before those 2 were going well) Swapped lead loads of times on last few laps
