I think move on to sims 2. This is a great ending to Jims childhood imo. You can continue after he gets back from military school as a teenager.
But sims 2 is actually set 50 years/Days in the future from how Malcolm is an adult in sims 2 opposed to how he is a child in sims 3, that and there are Robots in Sims 2... i'm probably wrong.

Plot twist: Jim wasn’t actually taken to military school, he was taken to Hogwarts and that’s where Kevin’s Garrys Mod Harry Potter RP series started. He was later expelled from Hogwarts because he had become too powerful. That explains why when Jim died in “Sims 4 but I should never have a job”, the entire timeline stopped working. He’s so powerful that he can destroy the entire universe when he dies, and he might actually be aware that he’s in a game and that destroying the universe would force Kevin to load his previous save file. Truly, Jim Pickens has reached god-tier power. This makes me wonder what a fight between Jim Pickens and Autism Cat (from Wilburger’s Oblivion series) would be like. Two god-like beings fighting one another, it would be the fight of the century. An unstoppable force meets an immovable object.

When Jim was sent to military school he was personally trained by a man called thicc boi from the army rp videos. This caused Jim to see the grim reaper quite a lot from the deaths, further strengthening his relationship with him.

Jim's father was always chasing that fame, convincing himself he'd be the next big star and neglecting his family. Blowing his money on expensive and lavish possessions while not even providing a simple garbage can for his family. Jim's mother had a near-death experience and spiralled into a depressive mood of being so obsessed with death she'd host parties and make "accidents" happen just so she could see it all again and live through the thrill and depression. Like an addiction.
Poor little Jim was just trying to go to school but the neglect from his parents strained him. His garden was surrounded by gravestones, frightening and intriguing him and he kept spotting a dark cloaked figure arrive to his home and add another gravestone. Like his mother, he became obsessed with seeing this dark figure.
Eventually people caught on to Jim's living conditions and he was taken away, sent off to a military school to help him better himself. But the young Jim was already down a dark path. It was too late.

But Jim was too powerful, and accidentally went to the medieval times, being crowned King of Fecktopia. Grognak the Destroyer Attorney at Law had met him there, but they were sent back into the future. Jim had entered a strange city(gmod city rp) after many scandals he made when traveling through time, he became old but still the most powerful being. His age changed nothing. He stayed in the Simlands for the rest of his life.

This game brings back so many memories. My mom introduced me to the game when I was young (this was like 2009).
Until I got old enough to understand it, but the first time I played it I didn't grasp the concept of pausing. I made my family and built our house too. So, I never paused my game and turned off the monitor. In short, I woke up to my own sim sent off to boarding school, my dad died, and my mom was surrounded by cockroaches crying over my dads urn.
I never played the sims again until like 6 years later-
Someone pitch the Jim Pickens Cinematic Universe idea to Hollywood asap

I've been doing some reading lately about past lifes and stumbled upon one of the most disturbing revelations of 2018.
I believe our beloved Kevin, was James Arthur Pickens in a past life.
James Arthur Pickens was born in Kent, England in 1897 to Richard and Janice Pickens.
James or Jim as he was known suffered from Albinism and received much scorn throughout his life for it.
He dropped out of school at 12 and became an apprentice Farrier or horseshoe maker along with his Father.
Then World War One broke out and along with the rest of his former peers he enlisted in the British Army.
In a cruel twist of faith Jim Pickens, the young Albino soldier, was sent to Gallipoli to fight agaisnt the Ottoman Empire.
The Sunburnt cruel on Jims ivory skin as he peeled and blistered in the Mediterranian heat dodging death dished out from the barrel of a Turkish rifle.
Miraculously, dispite the hunger and endless peril young Jim made it back home but unfortunatley his compassion and humanity were lost somewhere in the trenches, buried beneath the shell fire of British and Ottoman Warships.
Jim arrived back in Kent like a stranger, he was unrecognisable. The countless Sunburn he endured had scarred his skin leaving a never ending burning sensation.
It eventually drove him mad.
In the interwar years he took over the Farriers business from his Father and opened a "Knackers yard" for dead and dying horses.
This is when the experimentation began. Jim Pickens delighted in hacking apart and mutilating dead horses.
But it wasnt enough.
Jim Pickens would stalk the countryside at night, to avoid the sun, searching for his next victim to keep in his cellar for his "experiments".
The newspapers warned of "The Vampire of Kent" for years.
There was 26 disapearences from 1919 to 1923. All mutilated and all dressed in the garb of Saint Nicholas.
He was eventaully caught by none other than a member of his former Battalion of her majestys 87th Fusiliers who had turned to law enforcement after the war.
Late one night after stalking a young women for half a mile on the outskirts of town Jim had wandered onto the garden of the Soldier turned Policeman.
"Who is trampling my petunias at this hour at night" he bellowed, Shotgun in hand "identify yourself!"
Jim froze, his blood curdling as he seethed with raged having lost sight of his quarry.
"Call me Kevin!" He shrieked, his voice sharp as a knife split the calm midsummer night of the English countryside.
It was followed by 2 blasts.
Jim Pickens, The Vampire of Kent died in 1924 after taking 2 slugs to the chest.
He had left the war, but the war couldnt leave him.

Plot twist... Jim's mother actually died. He couldnt cope with it and now has this disjointed and augmented reality of a memory. He imagined going to military school to deal with a terrible home life and trying to distance himself from his destroyed home. In reality, the sweet nanny that raised and cared for Jim was nothing but a cold dead vessel compared to his mother. His father chased a dead end acting career. When jim was older, it was the only reality he knew so he tried to make it on the big screen. Nothing would ever make Jim happy. Murder, Magic and a fascination with death is all based around the loss of his mother and his broken inner child desperately trying to bring her back. As a shattered figure, he never learned right from wrong with two completely absent parents and now is mischievous, a slob and downright evil. He still clings to the childhood he desperately craves, and even grim his poor spouse isnt dead, but just cant measure up to the pedestal Jim put his mother on... Our little Jim was doomed from the start.
