Great ride...love the remoteness of the desert. I grew up riding the beaches and love sand......keep up the speed...move back on the seat to keep the front light, and let it wander and find it's own route.....scary at first, but you will get used to it. Great series. Garth
That marker for "don't miss this turn" was a from a note I sent you - that's the exact turn I missed going thru NM back in 2022 and I got lost and turned around in a ranch land off the track. and GPS wouldn't work right in that area it seemed. Looks like you got on the correct route and didn't screw up as bad as I did
You have no idea how encouraging your videos are- encouraging in the literal sense. I mean... You could edit out the negative stuff, but you keep it real 👍
Always nice watching videos like this when its cold out and have the wood stove going lol. Maybe a little heat is radiating off the laptop from NM my way too. Great video sir! - Shane
What if you were riding across that and seen a motorcycle ahead of you. When you catch up he turns around and looks at you and it IS YOU! New twilight zone episode right there…… there is a peaceful feeling about being in the middle of nowhere. You have a lot of confidence in that 411. I’d have to think about it with mine. Although now that all the bugs are worked out… small stuff. Mine had been running great. Thanks for the video budro.
When you started talking to mission control I thought we had lost you but then you were talking to a tree. Changing the tire I would have used a little soap. another entertaining ride.
Ja, altijd die irritante aktie film muziek, wie denkt ze wel dat ze is? Keira Knightley in Pirates of the Caribbean?😂 Did you hit the translation button? Or was it obvious enough? 🇳🇱Dutchies be everywhere🥴
Just say NO to the tally hooo...lol As for riding in sand, remember the lyrics for "Hold On Loosely" by 38 Special Just hold on loosely But don't let go If you cling to tightly You're gonna lose control let the bike move, move with the bike and "when in doubt, gas it"
Always nice to see someone else struggle with a tyre. Hear me out bf you block me😊 I haven't been going very far on my weekly tours, my tyres are getting low on profile and i hate fixing them on the side of the road. But i have everything i need to do it, so i shouldn't be a middle aged biatch about it I even have a 70cm. tyre spoon, heavy duty tie wraps, can of lube, electric pump and co² cartridges(they costs nothing and live forever in a small place under your seat or so, really get them!). Btw Are you sure you're of Italian descent? You sure sound crazy enough to be Dutch.🥴😁😆🤣 TalyHoooooooooooooooo
Dude get a Baja no pinch tool seriously. I remember you got burned on a pinched tube on the the CT125. Just get the tool it's still not super easy but it's way easier and you won't get a pinched tube. Or maybe get that new Himalayan 450 with the tubeless option. Way easier to put a plug in don't even have to remove the rim.
I have one and love it. but whenever I got to pack for a trip I realize how large it is... or, it's just kind of awkward to try to fit somewhere... Yeah I dream about tubeless tires!!!
What a run of no-fun, sorry dude.... But I gotta tell you, I loved the scenery, I didn't mind the sand because... well because I wasn't riding in it. But that cyclist, wow, yeah I would've loved to have seen him too, done an interview, find out wtf he was going through. I hitchhiked from a little south of(?) Cuba back into Chaco Canyon. The young indian man giving me the ride ran out of gas! I hitched him back to his mom's hogan, and then I stood out in that heat, same heat and treelessness you were in, w/ my pack, at high noon, and accompanying total silence and all sky and sun. But whoa - there was a 3 ft high sage bush, I scrambled under it, and waited a time for another car which did come before I dried up and blew away. Desperate high desert country, how do the native americans do it? Well good luck to you and your new tire. And looking forward to your next................ dude............
Maybe I'm getting the wrong impression of the southwest, but in the desert in the northwest, there's cows everywhere. It really depresses me. Cows outnumber native life like 10k to 1. I wish people could just live off of less meat and eat buffalo or elk every now and then.
There's a video of a guy using zip ties to pull the tire together before putting it on the rim. It looks slick, you should try to find it for future reference. ua-cam.com/video/I74KQ4601iA/v-deo.html
That Aussie mate on his Warhorse, Riemann was his namo😊 Found some extra long and strong ones with a company that rents out party/Circus tents, they use them to strap the tents down to the ground, 50 kg. bf they break. It's a Dutch company so no use looking up the name. Carry 6 of those now and a can of lubrication. Talihooooooooooooooooo
I believe it took Itchi Boots 3 hours to fix her first flat tire. I hope this one will make you feel better. ua-cam.com/video/VwvqVHY-0qc/v-deo.htmlsi=G2ESucxuxotxivof
That tire change segment is good entertainment. Seriously. Do more content like that. Also looking forward to the return of tally-hoooooo!

I feel your tire changing pain. Thanks for the content!
When you started talking to mission control I thought we had lost you but then you were talking to a tree. Changing the tire I would have used a little soap. another entertaining ride.
Your videos inspire me. I checked out the new RE Himalayan 450, it's calling me.
The 450 looks great. Hope you can get it!
Probably freezing in Asheville right now so the heat would feel ok😁 Great music again Ang. Noraly could use your selections.
Ja, altijd die irritante aktie film muziek, wie denkt ze wel dat ze is? Keira Knightley in Pirates of the Caribbean?😂

Tell Noraly to hire me as music supervisor!

Just hold on loosely
But don't let go
If you cling to tightly
You're gonna lose control
let the bike move, move with the bike and "when in doubt, gas it"
Dude, sorry about the tire situation. On the bright side, your shampoo filled scalp brush could be the next big thing on Shark Tank!
yeah!
A simple compass could help with you on long bdr rides..
The struggle is real! The good news is I heard air conditioning in the background…
The shade tree needs water lol.
Have you tried on x?? Just wondering if that would be any better?
I've tried it a little. I think I'll probably end up using the DMD stuff at some point...

I think I've got some Dutch in there somewhere too- I've got some Van Gilder's in the family tree... ha!
🤔A little soapy water in a sprints bottle. Would have helped a lot, Taking that tire off the rim.😉🍻🤙🏼
I carry a little bottle of watery Dawn dish soap... I used some hotel shampoo too - still a big pain!
Personally, I have not missed the Tally-Ho! At all!
Enjoyed, if you're going to ride in the desert, you better practice sand riding! Stay loose and accelerate in the sand.
If you get into trouble, just let us know and we'll be out to help you... As soon as your video comes out in 6 months 😉
I prefer “something has gone ascrew” to awry.

Sometimes your adventures involve too much misadventure.

I know some people totally thrive in the desert - but man - such a freaking inhospitable place!
Sime guy talks , while he rides . 🤷♂️✔️
Be careful; We don't want to find your Head and Shoulders out there on the trail 🤔
Apology accepted. I was actually missing the tally-ho.
Nice job but think you need bike with tubeless tires! You just can’t win with this tire thing!
agree!
@ I’m wanting on the new CF moto 450 to come in sounds like a great little bike and has tubeless tires
Fkn around in that kind of country alone is never a good idea. However if you have comms to the outside world it might be ok.

You know - I think i'd seen this before. I need to remember to try this!

Ugh, no doubt tire work sucks!
