Just threw out my big stash of cereal for the crows & cardinals & wrens. Not buying more. It became nocturnal comfort food, just as she said, to reward my "suffering." "Organic guidance" was telling me to give up the flood of carbs & take a night hike into the forest here, but like Augustine told God, i said wordlessly,"let me sleep a little longer "... Can't sleep in 1st floor stupidity any longer with Caroline gonging the temple bell in my skull. Like a zen master whacking me with a big stick. So grateful.
Somehow you were channelling with this lecture and unexpectedly I found the so searched answer to why I have to keep empowering and reassuring other people even though it could be really struggling sometimes. I am 59 and I can remember the exact moment as a small child when I realized that I was me and that only I had the power of being me. It was like my ego consciousness switched on, I've never forgotten it, every detail.

Yes that was very disappointing to hear her strong view on that and her retort of "the stupidity".... I suppose having deep knowledge doesn't make you immune to dark agendas.
I just don't understand the logic. Let's restrict our breathing to produce better health? There are zero verifiable studies showing that mask wearing is health promoting, quite the contrary. They are meant for the surgical theater to prevent fluids and tissues from entering into the operating crew's system. One scientist, who did extensive studies into the matter, quipped, "Wearing masks is like trying to kill a mosquito with a chain link fence."
That was my issue too! All her teachings and the one time I stood in power over my bodily autonomy, she seemed to think is selfish! I am still standing my power and say you cannot tell another human to wear a mask daily to protect others when you're not actually sick 😂
Nothing to do with righteousness, amazing as a medical intuitive she can insightfully have a read on peoples medical problems but maybe not so good at reading big pharma’s agenda ! Disappointed
I was meditating last night and I saw so clearly how I saw everything in the world as coming toward me, then enveloping me, and how that was causing me so much distress. And as I meditated on that, I reversed it in my mind and taught myself how I could see energy flowing out of me instead, and how that would create so much less frustration and sadness for me. Today I click on this video and within the first two minutes, you literally said exactly what I realized last night. This world is so amazing. I'm sitting here just shocked. We are all so much more connected than we realize.
I had the same realization listening to this. In 30+ years of learning from her, it didn’t occur to me till today. Bodhisattvas are usually disguised perhaps.
What do you read it as? Interpret it to mean. I’m thinking it’s multifaceted. Depending on where we look at it from. me and thee for example. Me and I that’s a thought and a half.
A thought is one thing and then as a Process… what a lot of ideas there are in a three word sentence. I dare say sentencing is a major aspect for I recall somebody saying prisons are full of people with a fear of rejection.
As a speech-language pathologist for over 40 years, 30 of which have been on the Blackfeet Reservation in NW Montana, all my work consisted of empowering children, their families and the community. I feel I planted many seeds- but the work was exhausting and wore me out. I had to retire because I became ill (lots of issues) and had to quit working in a tough environment to work on healing.

Exactly, it's our choice to suffer the pain mentally. It can be changed with acceptance of what is & non-suffering... When I realized I could stop fighting against the physical pain from an accident, & relax with acceptance, my pain level was reduced by at least 50%!

Caroline begins by talking about the laws that are strictly in place in our universe, then goes on to say everything is an illusion. I suggest you read Stephen Meyer's book The God Hypothesis...dimensional reality is not the same as illusion. And why so angry & condescending to your audience?
19:00 you ask why we sabotage ourselves, and as I think about that, not realizing I was doing that, I think it is because I can. I am a thin woman and I walk every day and I am healthy but I love sugar and I seem to be getting worse about eating sugar after my meal. At the same time, I preach about we are what we eat and that we need to eat healthy to stay healthy. I’m really a hypocrite. But because I do not gain weight maybe because I walk or ride my bike, I continue to cheat myself with overeating and sugar doses. I know it’s not good for my brain. maybe your talk will help me.

It depends on circumstances. If we’re out in the country side living and working healthy -that is very different to when living in an urban industrial context - which is many millions of people.

I was very resistant even through most of my adult life to recognize power struggles and narrative control and resistant to accept them as long term solutions to anything. I'm still at that stage of once I saw it, I can't unsee it, and see it everywhere.

I am 80 and have followed your teachings since the 1980’s. I have gained so much from your talks and workshops and have been putting into practice the principles you speak of, as I’m sure have many of the ‘dreamers’ of the 60’s. But this particular talk, which I just paid for, has concerned me. I feel you have strayed from the wonderful impersonal teacher that you have always been, to a frustrated, personal preacher. Certainly likening the syate of depression to self pity is as odd as to do so with a heart attack and self pity. Did she mean unaddrrssed sadness? Either way - there are real physiological changes that go along with a depression diagnosis, not just emotional ones.

Every thing is a test that is the set up. Having gone thru so many trials and tribulations I make an effort to empower everyone that crosses my path. I give positive advice as I did not have that as I grew up my intuition guides me as to what to say and to whom. Many times God or the Holy Spirit will guide me. I know the Divine protects me despite knowing my own shortcomings because no one is perfect.
remember, just because someone sounds confident does not mean they are correct it just makes it easier for them to sell courses and books to people who are looking for answers, when they sound confident

why do so many older people not have a drink when their throat has something in it or they are coughing a lot?? is it stubborness? many refuse a drink when offered one in this situation
what timing 😮 Making a lot of sense, as my level 3/stomach and lower have been so off, upset stomach and cramps.. makes so much sense and perfect timing ❤ Asserting my personal power and my shadow work needs a little more attention to it. (My addictions) yet knowing that I should be honing my development of sense of self. Thank you Caroline.
I was enormously blessed to hear the teachings of Thick Nhat Hanh early in my life and benefitted from this greatly. I subsequently was exposed to other very talented meditation and monastic teachers. It's interesting to hear so many teachers now distilling the very same teachings in a new way to make it digestible for a wider audience -- those who would never step foot in a monastery or hear a dharma talk. Buddhism in the west just might save us.

I am 80 and have followed your teachings since the 1980’s. I have gained so much from your talks and workshops and have been putting into practice the principles you speak of, as I’m sure have many of the ‘dreamers’ of the 60’s. But this particular talk, which I just paid for, has concerned me. I feel you have strayed from the wonderful impersonal teacher that you have always been, to a frustrated, personal preacher. Please continue imparting Divine knowledge and let God deal with how we use it. God bless

Certainly likening the syate of depression to self pity is as odd as to do so with a heart attack and self pity. Did she mean unaddrrssed sadness? Either way - there are real physiological changes that go along with a depression diagnosis, not just emotional ones.

Every thing is a test that is the set up. Having gone thru so many trials and tribulations I make an effort to empower everyone that crosses my path. I give positive advice as I did not have that as I grew up my intuition guides me as to what to say and to whom. Many times God or the Holy Spirit will guide me. I know the Divine protects me despite knowing my own shortcomings because no one is perfect.
remember, just because someone sounds confident does not mean they are correct
it just makes it easier for them to sell courses and books to people who are looking for answers, when they sound confident

I was enormously blessed to hear the teachings of Thick Nhat Hanh early in my life and benefitted from this greatly. I subsequently was exposed to other very talented meditation and monastic teachers. It's interesting to hear so many teachers now distilling the very same teachings in a new way to make it digestible for a wider audience -- those who would never step foot in a monastery or hear a dharma talk. Buddhism in the west just might save us.
I learned so much from this about myself. Now I know and I am so happy. Lots of homework to do.
