- Suella Braverman is demanding the head of the Metropolitan Police to resign following the controversy surrounding the threat to arrest an openly Jewish man at a pro-Palestine rally.
Former Home Secretary Oliver Dowden also criticised Scotland Yard for showing disrespect towards Jews, saying that Jews seem to be treated disrespectfully, unlike any other minority.
Sir Mark Rowley, the head of the Metropolitan Police, has been summoned to a meeting with Chris Philp, the policing minister, who expressed deep concern over the Met's handling of counter-protestors at Pro-Palestine rallies.

Its not just the Jewish people who are worried about being in the streets while these demonstrations are going on. I think many women are afraid and nervous about it. I am guessing familieswith children are nervous about it too. There do not seem enough police out there to police it properly so they are trying to stop anyone who they think may inflame the situation however innocent theymay be. Which to me suggests the ppolice are also nervous about the marches. This being the case these marches should be stopped.

Sir Mark Rowley needs to finds some balls here,just what is he doing issuing an apology.The officer was quite correct in his action,he was able to see the wider picture and probable consequences of allowing a Jewish person to approach and perhaps mingle with these demonstrators.Had this man been assaulted (perhaps badly),the police would have faced the inquisition of a Civil Court action for not executing a 'duty of care'.
What you are saying implies that the protesters lack self control , are prone to violence, and will physically attack anyone or anything they regard as not "one of us"?

It has been alleged that Honorable MP Suella Braverman is spreading hateful ideas among the religious people in Britain. The Brussels police have identified her as a radical politician and shut down her conference. I urge the British police to investigate this matter. It's a matter of shame for British MPs that one of their fellow parliamentarians was expelled from Brussels by the police due to her extremist actions.
