Honestly mate, this thing is epic!! Checkout my latest video, you'll see the punishment it took... only upgrade I've done so far is the steering blocks, which were a fiver each!
The weaknesses of this model were adressed with the new release in 2022. This model of yours seems to be from 2021. The centre diff should get at least 100k cst oil in, that will prevent ballooning front tires on a wheely. Great car and nice video! 👍
Yea I got the 2021 model, but honestly haven't seen the 2022 model anywhere 🤷♂️ just changed the steering blocks to HD, and it's a little weapon now!! And funny enough, I've got 100k diff oil ready to go in the centre diff... and a chassis brace kit in the post. Gave it a right good bashing today and it's come home in one piece! Very very impressed with this thing
They are epic, and excellent value for money! Mine has been through hell now, I'm gonna rebuild it and put some more upgrades on it after Christmas... Might be worth watching that video if you buy one lol
The xtr has tougher components, and comes as a rolling chassis. Whereas the xp comes as an rtr. I'm slowly upgrading my xp; it has hd steering blocks and xtr centre brace now, and I've just ordered a crcru steering rack and ebay special servo... Next I'll be upgrading the shock towers and probably getting titanium stand offs from crcu. The xtr for some reason got some bad press, although it's mostly from the like of Kevin talbot and other extreme bashers. The xp has served me well so far, in fact it's one of the best things I've ever bought for myself! However I don't do stupidly high jumps, and I've still had to fix/upgrade certain things. I'd definitely recommend one. and I'd probably recommend buying the xp over the xtr, as even some of the xtr parts need upgrading for extreme bashing... and the xp includes decent electrics too!
So basically you're saying it comes not fully assembled. No top brace? That's super cheap and you said it yourself. This car is cheap. Until you fully put it together, right? And the tires look a lot more plastic than any kind of rubber.
Hey buddy... Yes, it comes fully assembled. It just doesn't come with a chassis brace unfortunately. I've fitted one to mine now, which cost £45, and took a few hours to fit. Overall I'd say its extremely good value for money, however it's not as good a package as the more expensive arrma kraton 6s
🔥🔥🔥 Strongly thinking of getting one of these.. gonna watch your vids on it 👌🏾

What’s the difference in this and the xtr?? Seems they came out around the same time?
