I wholeheartedly agree with most of what's discussed in this video, especially the key metrics for UA-cam growth. I recently started a new Shorts channel just five days ago, and I've already reached 1,300 subscribers and accumulated 340K views in total. One piece of advice I'd like to share is to avoid creating content in large quantities during the initial days. Instead, post your videos, analyze the feedback from the analytics section, and use that information to refine your content. Once you've discovered your winning formula and the algorithm better understands your content and audience, then you can consider creating and scheduling content in bulk.

Bro i am in shock with your results! I am doing yt shorts every day for 8 months and now i have 1050 subscribers and over 450K views but i cant do any viral video. I watched multiple videos about it, my editing isn't that bad (in my opinion) my most famous video has 29K views and it give me 99 subscribers. Also I always hear that 'I must analyze my latest shorts and get better every next short' but I dont really know which of these analytics are the most important. I know that AVD and swipe away rate are the most important ones but you said about some feedback and i dont know what you mean by this :(. If you might help me and write analytics that are most important I will be helpful and you will save me time:)
Nvm I get 900K views on one of my shorts and now I have over 3200 subscribers
I've been uploading 1 video daily for 12 days on my shorts channel. I have yet to get a video to get 100 views yet and the videos are not getting any reach at all. I don't really know what to do from here, I have videos made for a few more days all scheduled to go up daily so I suppose I will keep waiting
As a small youtuber who just started posting again. When I first started I averaged around 200-800 views per short. Then I took a 9 month break 🫠 I would make sure your videos are welly edited. Like having captions (if there are words in the short, or lyrics from songs), transitions, sound effects to anything that fits. Now I am making 1-8 thousand views per short and have found editing to be key. Even if it is too fast paced for your liking or too edited, thats what people like since their attention spans are short asff. Most of my better performing shorts are my fast paced, quickly edited ones. Don’t worry brother we got this 😊 I wish me and you good luck!
@@MyTrashyArt Thanks for the info 😁 i just started uploading again after a break. My views are around 8k per short now which is better but id like to average in the 5 figures eventually. Its really hit and miss with videos it seems and also finding a niche that works is a lot of work aswell

I seen other youtubers are saying don’t start with UA-cam shorts because they will kill your channel..they recommend to upload 8 to 10 minutes longer video...what should I do?..I started a new gaming channel and I want to upload shorts for now...should I go with Shorts or start uploading longer video now?
I only tested shorts as a challenge. In terms of you wanting to grow with long form, you should post shorts after you grew already. But then again I have a friend who uses the link to long form feature on yt shorts and gets a solid amount of views.
@@hunterlinton thanks for the advice..as a new youtuber, my shorts are getting way way more views than the long form..those shorts received likes and comments but its unlikely for long form videos and im giving link to the long form video in the shorts now
How much shorts should we have to post daily ??
Starting out I did 2 but you can honestly just stick to 1 because you may get burnt out if you’re not used to creating mass amount of content
I have posted 12 short in a week and I'm still stuck in 50 views in one of the most viral, what can I do😢
