    Good presentation Darol. Being in the music biz, there are times I have taken a new bow out of the case to prepare for the customer. Sometimes that new bow hair is so slick, it's like it was treated with silky cream rinse and nothing sticks to it - not dark rosin, not light rosin. So, to cure that, I have slightly dampened the bow ( very slightly !! ), wet the thumb or index finger and then do a light run over the bow hairs. After that the rosin should start to stick to the bow hairs. ((This only applies to a brand new bow)). Some may disagree with that technique, but it has solved that problem. If you disagree, well, then we disagree.
