CTA Holiday Train 2021 Sunday Loop Run 12/12/2021

Hello again Chicago Railfans!
I know it has been a while since I have posted a new video. I hope I can change that sooner than later, but for now know that I have not given up on this channel and I intend to have a lot of future content.
The CTA Holiday Train is back after running without passengers in 2020, albeit with a different schedule. I opted to go to the train when it was doing a Sunday Loop run, as it made it much easier for me to find the dang thing.
During weekdays, the train runs up and down various lines of the network, making it possible for the Holiday Train to be your ride home.

I think it’s terrific that the CTA does this every Christmas holiday bring some joy back to the city with all that’s right t has happened gold CTA

Those EMU (motor and bogies) units are almost silent. I am from the United Kingdom of Great Britain, and I am so used to hearing loud trains. Especially the Class 43 HSTs, but since they have been retired, I just hear the Class 360 EMU units and I can hear them from my house (3 miles from the railway station).
