    Now that I think about it, I really should've put the 3rd movement of Schumann's fantasy op. 17 on this list! Also maybe Chopin's etude op. 25 no. 7 and Debussy's Sunken Cathedral.

      The Scriabin sounds a bit noisy and unmemorable…im not hearing any beauty in this piece; but it sounds hellishly difficult, which is exactly the kind of score that would appeal to someone like Marc-Andre Hamelin

    What a delight to see Scriabin and Alkan in this selection… they are severely under-rated! I was listening to Alkan almost exclusively in 2009, and to Scriabin (also almost exclusively, to the point of obsession) in 2011.
    By the way - sorry if the comment section is an inappropriate place to ask this question, but I could not find any contact information on your channel - do you take commissions? 0:37 in the triplet they played g twice? Bach lots different from score?

    But overall good

    • @megi5673
      @megi5673 17 днів тому

      I dont think that Beethoven's too fast, it needs to be like that so you could get a nice, cantabile melody in the main voice. If you drag it too much it waters down, and the melody gets lost in my opinion.
