I think that his barrier is meant to be used like Winston's barrier where it is just more used to block abilities rather than damage, you can literally deny a widow position with your barrier

Yup, the last thing you should be using this for is to soak up damage. This thing is suited for more tactical uses, such as blocking an enemy sigma's accretion, a road's hook, hanzo's/widow's sightlines, and even shit like blocking an ana's view of her teammates, essentially denying heals.

He is hard, but i Recommend that people play him more, Because if you get Good at him, There are amazing things you can do, Almost No Limits, Alot of Outplays. So don't be discouraged because he is 3 star. Play him, get used to him, you will get better, takes time and practice

@Storse, to add on to what @Kronix YT said, if Sombra’s nerf was any lower, she’d be almost worthless and unplayable. Honestly this nerf might “fix” the quality of games if there is a Sombra on the opposing team from you especially as a Reinhardt, Zenyatta, or Brigitte.

@@aforrest7658 Yeah but no orisa is dumb enough to send it right at you, they'll send way upper than your grasp hitbox and they'll hook somebody else if you try your grasp, he actually does wonders in a bunker comp.

this creature can levitate give him a break
The clunkyness comes from the burst fire pirmary, the pauses between shots make it seem like its dragging and the shield animation could use a bit more detail as in is the shield being brought back or sent out etc. For the one game i've tried him so far i would mess up the shield too much because i couldn't tell whats going on from the animations :/

Micromanage shield more, sneak and use it to deny damage at critical moments in unison with absorb to survive for some dmg on squishies up close, then rock to stun pursuers as you flee. He has no footsteps. No need to take spam damage at distances unfavourable to his balls. Like doomfist, he is better played assassinating someone up close combo style but more tanky and methodical. Play him with the talon crew and discover they actually kick ass together

Orisa needs a nerf to her shield ability. Higher cooldown or something. She out shields every single shield tank.
That's her whole design tho. That's like saying Lucio shouldn't have speed boost because it makes his team run faster than his opponents. It's literally the whole purpose of her design to be that way

She does have a higher shield CD on the PTR right now.
As a Orisa main, she doesn't need nerf. She needs more shield or a lesser cool down. Her shield should be 1000 instead 900. Or make her shield cool down in to 7 seconds.

Boy was xqc wrong. Looking back one year later this character broke orisa and replaced hog.
The main issue is that spam comps are just so fucking broken right now. Because of that fact, any character with a recharge shield rather than a replaceable shield is going to feel extremely underwhelming. Seems the most effective play style will require a ridiculous amount of communication b cause you will need to drop the shield so often. If they want this toon to be even semi viable against spam comps, they need to give the shield like 3k+ hp but even then it will still get destroyed so fast. Conclusion: spam is just too damn powerful. There is no main tank now or to come in the future that can stand up to the ridiculous damage output that heroes like Orisa, roadhog, Cree etc can produce. Seems like there will be more balancing to come. In lower elos tho, sigma will be crazy strong ;)
I think sigmas bullets should displace bullets. Like his shift I think.

no, the pull up damage is boosted but the throw down is fixed and cannot be boosted
so.. sigma bastion orisa. sigma ult just gives bastion stationary targets without shields

I mean I'm not sure but is sigma's rock throw an interrupt? If so it also cancels hog hooks and makes signa orisa bastion even stronger vs bunker
@@WolfeByteLabs it does stun but only if you hit it from a distance. If you hit it from 5 meters out it just damages. If you hit it from 20 meters out it stuns and boops.

Better make sure the team doesn't have a rein or a dva to block it first, or a Zen to outheal it. You can still use a abilities in sigma's ult, just like grav.

Very difficult to set up. There are far better combos
decent setup, but extremely unlikely to happen, and hard to pull off intentionally... it's not going to be meta.

This guy feels more like a DPS offtank tbh. He's terrible vs Orisa (and probably Rein/Zarya) but shits out tons of damage at the correct range.
Should win easy a 1v1 vs orisa...dynamic barrier placement, can bypass orisa shield, can absorb orisa damage. Orisa is good only against his ultimate and has long range advantage
