You, Sir, have a uniqueness that accompanies truly great musicians in that you can make the complex seem easy and enjoyable. An added bonus is that your presentation encourages us to believe, with hard work and consistent effort to hone our God given skills, we too can master things previously thought to be unattainable. Thank you for sharing.
The last fill is similar to what Tomas Haake does in Stengah, with a little accent in the left hand and starting with the foot. It's the fattest fill I've heard, check it out 0:53 /watch?v=gs-mvzLqiWk
Yes, I call this the "Grand Fanale" ending and I think it should only be used on the last song of the night. The reason I say this is because i've been in too many bands where they don't reherse/workout or even care about the endings and every song winds up with a "gGrand Fanale" ending. "STUPID"
this was really helpfull because im a right handed drummer but i roll left handed so i had a problem understanding but you made it simple i watched many other videos which didnt help i guess only a black guy can teach a black guy
Your playing is excellent but I can hardly hear your voice:( A secondary mic or a vocal mic set at a higher gain will solve that. You can reduce the volume to zero during "playing" sections when you edit. Looking forward to more!
Very effective and easy to learn (when it's so well explained).
Thank you !
I was looking for this lesson for ages thank you
for the help you give to people God bless you
regards form Greece thanks again.
Very nice , like your simplified way of teaching....and the look at the end...Classic!!! Cheers
Rob- Thank you for putting this up for others to learn. I really enjoy all the insights and your knowledge and skills as a trap player are awesome.

Nice! Welcome to the channel, man 🙂👊🏽
LOL, "bowling balls falling down the stairs." I'm gonna use that now when describing sloppy drumming. :)

Hey Mr. Rob that out looks so beautiful and I love the color/ paint tone of it... like a cherry kinda look to it. is it your personal drum kit ?

+Terry Williams It is. That's my beloved PHX kit. It's Yamaha's boutique line. I got it back in 2011 and still can't actually believe I own it. :)

+Bobi d Drummer You're welcome. Thanx for watchin' 🙂
Good job.
Excellent! Thank you.
"Trashcan endings" -- I don't know why, but that strikes me as the perfect name. I totally visualized the sound of a big drum fill ending.
Nice video!

Thnx Rob.
Anyone know what's the model of this Sabian main crash (the second one of left to right)?
Awesome Thanks!
You've got really nice crashes man!
To make it even busier, double kick. And 6 stroke rolls - cymbals on the singles.
Prefer the Beatdown! What's the Ozone size on the right?
20" and its the ride version :)
What he said. :)
Didn't know they made a ride version too. Do you actually ride it or just crash it?
The Beatdown, for the win!
that bass drums sounds nice
Really works lol, u kick ass zener!
wow! the beatdown is the way to go!
I'm 2 years late catching up, cuz I never knew your awesomeness was around. But how many people actually knew what was on your shirt????
So good.

1:45 Maybe I want it to sound like a bunch of bowling balls thrown down the stairs :D
J Ca maybe anyone will want to listen to you then ;D
Nice man!
How work on this : 15 minutes or 2 hours everyday ? Great video !
