Ajax Zappitello was one of the best cover defenders in the country last year. Constantly getting assigned the toughest matching he was rarely scored on and had nearly no team defense help. Ajax will be one of if not the best defenders in 2024.

Great defenseman have the best footwork. I played with a kid who could barely catch and throw but shut down AA after AA because his fw was unmatched. Offensive players will expose their stick when your feet are where they need to be.
