I love your ideas and projects. Lately, however, you are using equipment that I, for one, can’t afford such as a 12 x 12 printer and it takes the super thick paper. So, the thickest decorative papers doesn’t come close to the papers you are opting to use. This isnt the “old-fashioned way” of crafting with paper. I looked up Red River Paper and its printer paper in a super thick weight. That’s great but I can’t print papers like that and won’t invest in a printer with that capability. So I’ve been passing by some of your tutorials because of this. Your techniques and tips are the best…hands down. And I’m a fan, for sure. Luckily, I am pretty savvy with the chipboard and likely will try some of the things you’re making still using the chipboard.
Actually, 49 And Market papers perform just like the papers I am using in my printers. In fact, I have used 49 And Market papers in the same “old fashioned” way as the paper I used today to make chipboard free boxes.
It’s fine if you don’t want to buy a printer. 12x12 paper is 12x12 paper no matter how it comes round be. If you want to pass by my tutorials because I’m using something you don’t have or don’t like that is your prerogative. And it’s my right to “opt to use” whatever paper I choose.
I agree my tips and techniques are the best. And anyone watching my channel has BENEFITED! I intend to continue to enhance what I am doing by trying new things. It just amazes me that I have over 1700 awesome free video; yet the minute I decide to try something new…some want to complain(you included). Doesn’t matter how much you enjoy my channel, I am tired of the attitude of “if you do this, then I won’t watch”. Which is exactly what your “I’ve been passing” comment means. I’ve had enough of this. Watch or don’t watch, but I don’t ever want another comment like this from you. Have a good night.

@user, you obviously are looking for a reason to complain. Because you overlooked ALL of the different weights and thicknesses RR showed on their site. PPL also talked about those different weights in the video and pointed them out to us. The only thick weight that she is using was the 88lb. Everything else was standard weights that other companies use on their MATTE paper. Just because you can’t afford it doesn’t mean that she shouldn’t show it to those of us who can. You’re not as savvy as you think because you’re watching her for inspiration, tips and techniques.
@@aliciabrockhurst2092 I just apologized. I love Sherry and I can see how what I said was misinterpreted. I didn’t mean my comment that I’ve been passing some of the videos by as a threat. I watch most all of her videos and others because even if I come away with one tiny tip to use in my own crafting, it’s a win for me.

I can understand why you thought I was slamming you and I wasnt threatening to stop watching if you don’t make things the way I’d like you to. I meant it conversationally and not combatively. Maybe I’ve had a bad day and maybe you, as you said, are tired of negative comments. I get it. So, again, I apologize. I’ll take the comment down. I do learn a lot from you and, even if the project isn’t something I’d like to do, I still watch almost everything because one little tip I can take away from it is a win. I guess I failed at getting my thoughts out correctly tonight.

Gorgeous! I can't wait to try it. I struggled with the scoring diagram, but know I can watch again. I wonder if a downloadable diagram of a more complicated scoring like this might be made for future complicated projects. I kept stopping and starting to try and draw it. It made sense at the end, but it might take a lot of practice for me to read my drawings! Thanks for your creativity!

This a such a beautiful folio, and so nice and vibrant. I have a 12x12 printer in my Amazon cart for the longest time, just trying to make sure i buy a really good one. Its fun when you can print your own papers, and you have really beautiful digital papers. Love this project❤ and thanks for this series of projects, they make great gifts.

Hi Sherry❤. Hope you and Mike are well. I have a question. Remember all the videos you created a few years ago making the desk organizers and the magazine holder. I believe it was all done in blk and white. Also there were other videos w/chipboard. Unfortunately I saved them but changed internet providers and within seconds all I saved is gone along with the ones I purchased. Is there anyway you have those videos?? I looked through your videos but I’m sure you made so many videos it must be hard to save everything. That’s Sherry❤ gayle

Since I can't print 12 X 12 heavy paper, I thought I might try painting some watercolor paper in abstract color and using it for this heavier weight folio part. I like not always having to use chipboard.

Love love love . I see lady says can't print 12 x 12. I buy a piece then copy onto smaller 8 × 111/2. 1 make a lot this way. You can buy loose sheets white paper at stationers.1 also use napkins and spray adheseive and make my own onto sheets of 12 x 12 i dont like or on big sheets light card from staioners. Many ways shelly has shown usxto make paper
