Just ordered mine a couple of days ago. Had to double check the VIN number on mine because apparently the OEM one I got will only fit a specific range of VIN numbers. Thanks for putting this together so I know what to expect when I install mine!
Look sharp on 20 STR RS. Supposedly, these are discontinued from the factory, and not many available out there. I have not seen non-OEM aftermarket flyscreens look good on these bikes.
Yea i was told the samething. Triumph seems to make limited number of there profucts. Its very weird. I’ve had all kinds of other bikes and they seem to make millions of parts but triumph only makes a little bit of them lol
@@trex8693 yea i wonder why triumph makes accesories for there bikes in it seems a limited run. Its very odd you have to get them quick or it not you can’t get them or you have to wait till another company makes them. Thanks for the info. It makes the bike look awesome.
@@funnymotoman3503 Someone mentioned it has to do with the homologation issue for the US market. I sure don't mind paying an extra $100 as an option to avoid hassles. It looks good with Crystal White.
Thanks for the video. I was just quoted 53 GBP for clear and 102 for the coated one. Labour 120. After seeing your video I know I can save myself 120 pounds. Any idea if it's worth going for the clear one or the coated one? My street triple is also mat black like yours.
I seen the clear one. Its ok looking but the coated one looks way better on the mat black bikes just my opinion. Yea save yourself 120 pounds its easy.
@@VincentTL lol no problem. It does help its not just for show. I also have an arai helmet with the new dfx spoiler. They work together to help wind buffeting
@@funnymotoman3503 Thanks, man. Was also considering the Powerbronze windscreen. Because wind blast can be a problem at speed. Of course, it’s a naked, so it’s to be expected. But if a windscreen can reduce the blast, then why not? 😊 Thanks again for the video. 👍🏼
@@VincentTL yea i totally agree. Doing 80 on the street bike it feels like your getting pulled backwards. Its a very weird feeling lol. But the windscreen helps a bit and tucking in for sure if your doing anything over 75 mph. No problem.

Thanks for the message and subscribing. Im 6 foot tall and it helps to not have so much air against my neck. Your shorter so it might push more air on your torso. I don’t think it will create turbulant air around your head and neck cause its very tiny usually the bigger windscreens can create a pocket behind your body i had that issue on the triumph tiger with a puig windscreen. Hopefully this helps.
@Shalin I installed a Puig sport wind screen (clear) It made a noticeable difference on a 850 mile tour I took. It moves the air off your torso and upper chest and cleans the air up around the shoulders. I wasn't as fatigue at the end of each day. Also did a track day and it provides a nice bubble to tuck your head down on the tank. Total bolt on and IMHO doesn't detract from the looks of the bike.
For the R model, you actually have to take the headlight off (to take the headlight off there should be two screws under it) and look directly under the speedometer and take out the screw on the left (facing the bike). Then the speedometer will come off but will still be connected to the bike by a wire. You don’t have to remove that wire. Then do what he says starting from 1:10. I just installed a windscreen on my R model.

I definitely need to get one of these because I feel like a bobble head on my Street Triple. The wind seems to catch me right in the helmet.
Yea it definitely helped me alot. I also added a spoiler to the rear of my helmet and the bobbleness went away lol

Hi! Is there an aftermarket flyscreen visor or is it available at Triumph?
There is an aftermarket one available but i think triumphs one looks the best. Not sure what other one is called.

man I absolutley hate the R is not the same.. I can't get mine installed (2020 version) at all
Really i thought the r and rs where almost similar in every aspect. Except for dash and mirrors.
