Think about how big Gransax is... I mean it's in the name (grand = big) but he's so big that Fire Giant would probably be half his height, or maybe even smaller. Imagine fighting Gransax as a living boss. I'm pretty he's technically alive since the dragons stone scales can harden into pure stone to preserve themselves whilst still being alive; that's why Placidusax is seen in Farum Azula as a rock before you go to his boss area. Not sure if that's correct, but some item description mentions the ancient dragons turning their lord to stone to preserve him, so it's possible Gransax did the same thing.

Well if you noticed it did the same moves lightning, air attack then lazer. So if they had a big enough life they'll just tank it and be fine. I honestly wish it was murdered to just be the laser beam.
I love how Mohg not only walked straight into it like an absolute beast, but laughed at the dmg like it was a pin prick. And it wasn’t even because of his health either. It just didn’t faze him one bit aside from it knocking him to his knee.
If his beams would actually TRACK better so that the last two always were centered on his opponent they would be SO much scarier. Same with Radahn's Meteor.
@@oreochatz7231 I'm talking about players. You can watch him miss streamers several times. For Radahn and Plac when it's a 1v1 of any kind they should always be facing/tracking their attacker. For multiple v 1 they should always prioritize the main character with their special moves instead of going for the mimic or other players/npcs.

Solder of Godrick was just kidding guys...but this test is flawed due to the erratic nature of the beams. It was pretty much given who would survive when it came to the likes of Rykard, Fire Giant. However, some of the other outcomes only was good due to them being lucky.
Malenia and Radahn being absolute gigachads and walking straight into the beam, soaking up all that damage while everyone else stays 29e+14n^ steps away
Half of them didn't get hit by it because they were too far so I can't know if they could live through that beam. As for Rykard, yes his health did seem to be unmovable but his poise seem to be easily affected. Interesting vid.

I wanted the Godskin Duo to lose but it was funny watching the Noble get staggered several times in a row. The Fire Giant looked at Placidusax like, "That's all you got?" Radagon gave zero f***s and tanked hits like a...like a boss! Placidusax: "I'MMA FIRIN' MAH LAZAR!" Rykard: *loses a small fraction of hp* Placidusax: "The hell?" Hoarah Loux basically Naruto-ran in short bursts to reach Placidusax.
I think it would be cool to test the damage output of attacks like this against passive opponents too. If the bosses stood still and tanked the whole attack, would the fire giant and Rykard be the only ones who make it? That would be cool to see, great video tho! 👌
If you really wanted to know if they survive the lazer beam you should summon them just before he does that attack. You summoned all of the bosses way before the laser beam...
I know I can't be the only one who laughed out loud seeing Patches spawn in. To me it looked like he started to walk away too like he did in the Radahn fight.
I affectionately call this his "King Ghidorah attack" cuz holy cow it hits HARD. A lot of the damage is somewhat decided by the attacker's positioning which affects whether or not they get hit by the final vertical sweep which does a LOT of damage but requires them to be positioned right in front of Plac.
Not really a good test... you said this is about the mouth beam, yet they're all taking a ton of damage from the lightning or claw or swooping attacks, or not getting hit by the beam at all.

This isn't really makes much sense this way. 80-85% of the combo is simply hitting air. You should do this based on math. Count how many times it can possibly hit and how many DMG each hit does, then add up and see if the Boss HP could bear it or not. Almost every boss would die from the total combo DMG, I swear.
Soldier of Godrick did not consider him a challenge so he de-spawned, the 0 health bar is just a bug.

It's an attack sequence. Two lightning strikes, one for each head followed by a lightning cloud followed by beams
