Only the Arrma boost versions can be made 4x4. They have the same chassis and driveline as the 4x4 versions, they are just missing the driveshaft, front diff, and axles. You can buy the boost kit with everything included to convert. The cheaper 4x2 versions are 2wd only and have an entirely differnt chassis.
How can you upgrade the Gorgon to 4x4? I don't see how they would get a center drive shaft in there! I would to do this to my Gorgon & Fury... I believe this only for the "BOOST" models, no way they can make the Gorgon or Fury 4x4
@@davidcasteel6679 I knew their were no options, until they drop the blx version maybe... gains would be 4x4, which gives you more wheel spin which means better flips!
When you hold the black/gunmetal Arrma Mojave Grom BLX in your hands, feel the quality of its parts, when you see that it accelerates faster than 4S and 6S vehicles, when you experience its durability while bashing it like there's no tomorrow, and when you smile every time pushing the throttle - there can only be one
Feels like you're missing some pretty great stuff from FMS in the FCX line of 1/24th and 1/18th scale crawlers, I have an FCX18 K10 truck and I love it, I've modified it pretty extensively, it's very capable and aftermarket support is solid.
Awesome video! I agree with everything on this list! However, I noticed 2 things: 1: the Gorgon is not upgradable to 4x4, that would be the BOOST trucks from Arrma only! 2: The Arrma 1/10 Granite 4x4 MEGA does include a battery for the truck. 🙂👍
Yeah, gorgon is definitely not able to go up to 4x4, however, the granite 4x4 mega in fact does not come with a battery, I just got one for my little brother and had to pick up some lipos for it
@IZD3d oh really? They used to. Mine did. Both the Senton 4x4 MEGA and the Granite 4x4 MEGA came with a nimh battery and charger. At least as of a few months ago.
Idk about that lmao , mini b / legend . As well as arrma but a few of these off brand guys are coming strong with unreal opinions and tech for cheap . Idk how good they’ll be in the long run though for regular use
@@RcPlayer-tt2vw 57mph???? ROG is with the bigger pinion ( included) 3 s battery ( included)..wheelies (included)😁 self upright ( included)...I don't think so.. probably none of the above 😆.nice try tho ..I'll stick with the best for the price..have fun with your car .✌🏼😁
the cars later on are good in the video but the sub 130 cars here are almost all really overpriced. i'd rather look around on banggood, you can get really good brushless cars for a similar price range. and parts are also really cheap straight from china
This is the strangest list I've ever seen, you've left out so many really great RC's by Hyper Go, Rlaarlo, Haiboxing, DEERC, Hosim. Many share similar platforms but I think you had like 5 different ARRMA's all on the same platform just with different options so that's not an issue.
They are a retailer, so it makes sense that they would cover the brands/models that they carry. I don’t think they carry any of the brands you highlighted.
Tenth scale is where it's at, it's not worth giving up size, for a cheaper RC, these things are hard enough to see at distance without them being smaller.

I was wondering the same.
There is no current option to upgrade it to 4x4, but I don't see what it could gain from it either.
You cannot. Brett just misspoke. He deals with a lot of rc’s.

Ya have to throw a gorgon body on a 4x4 rig….😂

Arrma is killing it !!! They need to bring back the Talion !!!
Well the talion is now the kraton so….
Finally a nice review for small price rc s
Rc hobby isn t only for expensive cars
Well considering that arrma had killed the 4x2boost line up I’d say this video needs to be remade

Nice list! E-revo is the best IMO but they're all pretty good cars.
The Grom Typhon BLX is the one to get.
When did Arrma release a 4x4 Gorgon kit?? 🤔
AMAIN needs to do a better job showing what they sell on their site. Some of this stuff, I had no idea they sold.
The boost series is going to be discontinued
For me the best is the wl toys 124017 v2 😊

My pick is Arrma Gorgon....!!!!!!
4:05 Factual inaccuracy with the gorgon. It cannot be upgraded to 4x4.
When I go on your website the Granite 1/10 scale truck shows up as $220.00 and not $150.00
He mixing with the others only the mega are 220 but you can get them on sale for 159
Probably was 150 when he filmed the video goes on sale a lot
Remember their also US based if your in Canada price are more than what is on screen
@@calvinwolf7107 I live in USA 😆. I've been wanting a granite, so when he said the price I immediately went to buy it and saw the wrong price.
Whats with all the Arrma 2wd's?
Budget friendly, actually fun and indestructible so good for newbies
@@RcPlayer-tt2vw But they keep mentioning versions they already talked about and got a few facts wrong.
How did you miss the SCX24's??
Why the Arlaarlo ROG1 is not in the list?
Because rlaarlo isn't a horizonhobby affiliated brand 😂
They r not selling it!
That what I thought 😂
They are good I must say , MJX as well
ROG 1. $150 and better than anything on this list
The MJX rally even better

Losi Mini B
Got myself a Grom MT, Fms FMT24 and an Orlandoo oh32x01 with furitek brushless setup to build on Christmas.
Thanks Amain hobbies.
I think you missed a few that are a lot better than these, but I guess it’s OK job
You can't upgrade the Arrma Gorgon to 4wd.
"For a few dollars more" best RC CARS 300-400$ PRICE RANGE PLZ..
How come the mini maxx didn’t make the list? Oh yeah…
UA-cam has become a commercials drop for cheap companies.
it's not "em-kay."
MK is "mark."
