This game is so good in multiplayer. You're either an elegant party, gracefully dancing around patterns... Or you're a bunch of flailing fish pointing and yelling at each other. Good times!
You generally want to buy level ups to empty your cash stack because your XP and gold are boosted by the speed you beat the bosses, so taking level ups early gets you more cash for later for more levels later down the line. Similarly potions that boost DPS can "pay themselves back" for the whole team if everyone gets them too.
Only time that isn't the case is the game's last shop, where you usually don't buy potions as the second last area is pretty easy and its boss is in the last area, meaning you lose your potion for the final boss.
Thanks for the tip! I was hoarding gold like an idiot when I havent seen gems for skills I'm interested in (and not so good potions ).
Btw do you know what luck potion gives? What luck alone gives? Better % for activation things?

Luck is insanely strong. It boosts all your % chance to happen effects, including critical hits and by a lot. So your dancer special reset is one. The amount depends on the source of luck. I think that potion is 20%. Not 20% of what your chance it, your chance adds another flat 20%. The gem that mods Dancer's defensive to give luck is the largest at 50% I believe.
I had a god run in this game. I was playing multiplayer, so I was seeing items I hadnt personally unlocked. On the first chest I picked up an item that set my primary attack damage so it was based on the cooldown of my ult, albeit reduced by the power of my secondary. I was playing dancer, and I figured there there was a shop upgrade that made the dancer's ult cooldown 99 seconds and uppped the damage.
I never saw that upgrade, but
the second chest I got an item that set my Ult cooldown to 30 seconds along with providing another chance to reset it (I think, the beneficial effect of that item was basically irrelevant.) Even that was enough that it made spamming my primary do, like over 1000 dps on some fights. Closer to 2000 on some fights with multiple enemies. So yeah, that was the first time i beat the final boss.
This is a FFXIV raid tool made into a game. I've used raid tools like this to help resolve issues I've had on some raids. Not that I'm complaining.
I love this game so heckin' much! I really hope more people get to play it. It's truly a hidden gem.
Pretty fun game, i just with the difficulty wasnt so steep. It goes from easy to ridiculous fast
Not sure if you have these settings on (since I only have experience with one of the settings), but if you go to Options -> More Options, there are some visibility options for the bullet effects. That might help with seeing the effects better (for example, in the very last attack in the video, the color matches will still be the same, but the center bullet can be shifted to like Magenta or White or some other specific palettes).

Is there enough content and variety to keep this interesting for a number of replays?
There's a bunch of other unlockable character classes besides the base 5, as well as unlockable batches of items. And much like any other roguelike, there's a lot of replayability in finding multiple items that synergise together.
Not only more classes to play but they were on easy difficulty. There are two more levels above this.
The bosses also change up depending on the amount of players in one run so theres a good amount of variety
I notice that in the end of every battle, there's a rain of currency and you might stay in that place to get more currency
