I mean I’m not doing med for the pay, there’s careers which would definitely pay better😅. I also guess it would depend on the specialty I go into because people like GPs don’t have that bad of a work-life balance. If I go down the surgery route, in the specialty training years there would definitely be sacrifices being made but it would be equally worth it and rewarding in the end after meeting and hopefully treating patients!
@@AlizaMedic yes ur right actually im having battles in my mind whether i should go for med or not cause what if im not able to cope up with studies or if im nit capable to have succes in this field it scares me , pls give me some advice
@idkz5d That’s a very reasonable fear and most people probably think the same before applying. Coping with studies is something that will come with time with trial and error to find which method works for you but if you stay organised and on top of things from the start, it makes the journey much easier. As for the fear of failing in the field, this is something I personally know so many people think. If it puts things into perspective, I sometimes still have those thoughts despite being in year 3 and this feeling of imposter syndrome is very common! Just don’t let it take a toll on you and stop you from applying if med really is something you want to do. Having someone to talk to about your fears and struggles often helps a lot and it’s something which keeps me going, as I know my family and friends will always help me and encourage me. Also knowing others have felt the same way as me yet have powered through encourages me to think I can do it too!!
@@AlizaMedic aww this means alot too me this gave me courage and yes i really do like medicine but sometimes think that is it really worth it that many of days will be occupied with study burden an i wouldn't be able to travel the world, explore other espects of life also i have intrest in physics
@idkz5d That’s understandable! I mean there’s so many specialities to choose from some of which have very good work life balance! Hopefully you’ll find your niche if you decide to apply!
Your room looks so pretty💕
