My hat is off to Nikki and her excellent editing!! You guys are all shooting great footage and the channel just keeps getting better! We're done with soybeans and corn here in Alabama, in fact most of that ground has been put to bed after tillage and covers. That Salford tillage tool is impressive, for sure! Now, on to cotton!
Chet, Doug & Nikki, I really enjoy your presentations. You are in my top 10. Probably top 3. Dont change your format. So much to learn. We do a lot of things the same as you guys. What is funny is your terminology for different things such as tools, equipment, and general farm assets. If you do not realise it, your audience is world wide. I suggest you do a safety audit on practices, procedures and equipment too. Not just to save damage but injury and death. Cheers from Australia.
Hey Chet - allow this old fire chief to give you a word of advice - the next time you are welding like that have a large fire extinguisher of the right type at your fingertips in case you start a fire. You could easily lose a machine or the whole shop while running for an extinguisher! Good Video!
I don’t understand why people even watch tv anymore I no I don’t. I’d rather watch real people that I can relate to not some fake show that they act like is real. Love the videos guys I hope you guys don’t have anymore problems so you can finish harvest. ✊🏻🤙🙏
We need more young people like Eric and yourself world. Work ethic is what this countries made of thank you. Nicole is doing a great job with the videos.
Really enjoy watching your videos and Chet please wear your gloves when welding, yes they may effect your feel but the arc does a great deal more damage to your skin long term, I’ve learnt the hard way. Keep up the great work and stay safe.
I've been watching your channel for a while and I am enjoying it a ton. I farmed when I was a kid and did it was very old school .. in the 60's. We had McCormick M's and an International 806 with 110 hp. 4 row equipment too! Everything took forever. I started watching farming videos to see how it all has changed. What I like about your crew is that all of you guys enjoy each other and kid around all the time, yet all of you are about getting to the work at hand. The work ethic of the farmer has never changed. The other thing that amazes me is that you are not afraid of taking on ANY repair task, and you do it with this great attitude. All 3 of you just dig in and figure it out. As a bonus, the wives (and g/f) are fun and great to see getting involved in things and messing around with the gang. The big Swede is awesome and your dad, Dougo, had to be great to grow up with. Anyway Chet, I have subscribed and I click on the "like" button and look forward to all the adventures of the Larson Farm.
I really enjoy your videos! As a 60yr old "city boy", I'm so impressed by the amazing variety of skills all of you possess! I'm fascinated by what it takes to keep your farm going in spite of the weather and obstacles that come up each day! Thanks for your service to our country (I'm serious when I say "service to our country"- you are giving back in a great way!)!
You can learn too, your local Jr. College has welding, construction, AC, automotive, CAD, electronics, horticulture classes and more. I’m always taking a couple classes on something. Many are online now, plus lab time.
Two weeks of five hours of sleep. Back in my day I worked 12 to 16 hours a day then I went to the bar, got home and slept about two maybe 3 hours and didn't all over again the next day. Until I turned 25. Then I was blessed with my first kid and grew up. Nowadays if drink a six pack I need 12 hours to recover. Lol. Appreciate the sleep now while you can young buck. You and your entire crew deserve it.
I’m a city guy through and through..but..I love watching how farming is done..I’m thinking I should have been a farmer..I’ve watched just about every one of these videos..thank you for all the work you all do
I live in the suburbs of Canada and today I had to go way out in the rural areas and I got to saw some quad tracks and some combined in action and GOD those things are HUGE
Thank you for your videos! My 2 year old nephew can’t be out harvesting with dad because he is cutting teeth, your videos are the only thing I could use for him to calm down. It’s not as good as good as the actual thing but darn near close! 4 hrs later, your videos got him to settle and get some rest. May your yields be high and moisture low! Happy harvest from Indiana!
Chet, here is a safety tip for you, next time you’re welding or cutting with a torch, on something that has a potential of catching on fire, it’s always good to set a fire extinguisher right there, instead of have to waste precious seconds running across the shop to get one and then back
Better yet ought to have a 2” firehose in the shop that will reach everywhere. The water mist will cool down whatever is burning where the fire extinguisher doesn’t.
I really enjoy watching Chet in these videos! He has so many skills for such a young man,and a tremendous work ethic along with a lot of knowledge for his age. Although I like watching Doug ,I was starting to miss Chet in the last couple of videos. I so love to see & hear Chet's love & enthusiasm for farming.,which I believe comes from his dad who has the same passion for farming. Thanks to all of the Larson family and crew for giving us the best farming content videos on You Tube imho.
@@irvinwittmeier5208 I sure he didn't mean it the way you took it. Everyone knows Nicole is a class act , hard working wife who also has her own great channel
He really is though. Humble brag I know but I consider myself informed as a European dairy farmer but yeah Chet is something else. It’s so refreshing this dude is so real it almost hurts, can watch these videos forever really. It be weird though, I spend all day working agriculture and relax in the evening with these videos. My SO doesn’t get it haha not one bit!
It’s an amazing opportunity to see how a modern farm operates and if you ever feel compelled to change your lifestyle which I truly doubt that will happen you should consider filmmaking or acting. Thanks for education.
Chet. You are a go getter man that is great for Larson Farm's I understand my Dad would depend on me in the same way, I liked the challenges. Had to use that gray matter between your ears for those challanges.
Awesome videos. Kudos to all of you. Nicole is doing a phenomenal job editing. Unbelievable how fast your channel is growing. I am betting 300k by March. Very professional. MN Millenial, Welker, Cole better watch out cuz yall are rolling. :)
Nice rich dark soil, it's beautiful. Reminds me of the Colorado soil except it was dark red. It was beautiful after a fresh till. I loved plowing it and turning up the rich dirt. Oh yeah, you need that side by side. Tell Nikki we said so.
You are checking how top looks behind the Salford. How about checking the bottom. Get a probe and see what the area underneath where it is working is like. You may be surprised at the tillage pan that is being created. Check out Great Plains UTube video #5 on their Max Chisel. It is far more than a chisel plow. Great finishing job and good-bye compaction layers.
Great video Chet. As my uncle says when you have machinery you have brake downs and oh boy you shore have your share off brake downs. I love watching Larson Farms your videos are so good and Nikkei is good at putting them together. Glad you boys are having a good harvest.
Just started watching your videos about two weeks ago, love the content & how everyone gets along so well. Been going back and watching previous episodes, can't get enough. Thanks 13:04- Great FLAG!
You need a Ladies of Larson Farms!!!! We all know they are the glue that keeps it all working smoothly!!!

Came here to say the same thing. These are great people.

11:30 Those slo-mo fly by shots are really cool.
LOVE watching all.BEAUTIFULLY DONE.
After Harvest it would be nice to see a history of Larson farms video
Your show is a big hit in southern Michigan. Everything you do to your combine we do to ours lol. The saying on the farm is what would Chet do.
They need to put that on a T-shirt!
WWCD “WHAT WOULD CHET DO”
I need a shirt with Doug’s image on it with a quote bubble with “farming” or “hauling” or any of his great quotes in the bubble.
yes, totally agree.
Or his newest gem
"Just don't look at it"
"If you don't look at it, You don't notice it"
"I said don't look at it"
"It leaks only when it's raining"
I would buy that
Photoing
Another good week of good video content from Larson farms. Thank you.👍👍
Maybe you should be Nikki a side by and tell her it hers! You just need to borrow it now and then. And thanks for your content.
Absolutely love ALL the flags you have hanging in your shop
I have never wanted to buy merch. But as a ex farmer. I wanna support the farm channels I watch. You guys and Sonne farms.
Nice Chet to see the great case 620 quadtrac really working to get the soil black for next year 👍

Just bought a new Ranger 1000. Get it, you’ll love it.
Chet, remember that sometimes it easier to ask for forgivness than permission for toys!!
Awesome job guys!!
I also like all these videos and all you so, Also Thanks to the behind the scenes video editor Nichole for doing such a good job
I hope we get a video of Dougo dealing with the plugged auger. He is now my #1 Larson. (sorry Chet)
Forgot about that problem. You KNOW that’s gonna be a great video. Wonder what new Dougisms will emerge from that repair.
There must be something in the Minnesota water because you guys make good videos. 👍
We really appreciate you!! THANKS for teaching us about where our food comes from!!
Your editor really is good at her job!
Great job, Chet, I love watching your videos.
One of my favorite farmers
Snow day I see looking at ya’lls weather. Shop day or sleep in day. Hope y’all got all corn shelled and in bins. If so good timing!!!!!

I was wondering why one wasn’t close at hand!
Better yet ought to have a 2” firehose in the shop that will reach everywhere. The water mist will cool down whatever is burning where the fire extinguisher doesn’t.
In our truck shop the welders cart has a very large fire extinguisher right on top so if you need it, its right there.👍
@@oldtireman4665 there's one on the combine itself, but didn't see it "with him."
