  • Welcome to today's woodturning video! In this project i used this heart shaped log together with resin leftovers, which i crushed in small pieces. Unfortunately the project was too big for my pressure pot, so it got some bubbles. However, i was pretty satisfied with it.
    Hope you enjoy the video!

Very cool. 👍 The bottom is trippy, I guess because of the wood's shape and color, but I like trippy.
I loved all the pieces of resin. When I saw all the 'scrap' being dumped into the container I was saying 'oh nooooooooo!!!! LOL. I'm a jewelry maker.

very very cool! at first i was thinking stained glass but the finished piece really reminds me of an aquarium. all the colored rocks lining the bottom and then the piece of driftwood for the fish to hide behind 😁

Very nice! I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone using broken chunks of resin before. Love the heart shaped wood as well. Great job.

Yeah, I thought they were for a second, till I looked at the title again. Was thinking they’d be pretty rough on a gouge😅

A question about the foil you use in the beginning to make a round shape.
What is the name of that foil or where can I order it?
Thanks in advance for an answer.

85% of what you start off with ends up thrown away as highly polluting plastic waste. Hardly sustainable!

Woodturnes resin bowls are so weird. Can’t you pour it into a bowl-shaped mold?
