I'd love to see a tutorial on undereye concealing with a model/models that have different undereye "issues." I know you put out a model search pre pandemic and I'd love to see it happen!
My whole makeup routine is based on your techniques. As someone with patches of redness and horribly oily eyelids, I greatly appreciate how you have taught us to cover our flaws without covering the entire face. I get compliments on my skin frequently, not my makeup. I couldn’t have achieved this without your guidance Lisa, so thank you!! ❤️
I’ve been watching a lot of the older Pin point concealing videos recently, it’s such a nice technique and I think reminds us all that foundation is designed to give a sense of uniformity, not to delete every imperfection. Such a wonderful make up artist and make up historian!! Thanks for your fantastic videos 😍 and I can’t wait for the blush to be back in stock 😂
I've been watching you for a decade and the way I apply my makeup is almost entirely based on techniques I've learned from YOU. Your skill is unmatched. Thank you for being my teacher. ❤️❤️
I love how, even with complete access to luxurious and high end makeup/products, you frequently include drugstore/more accessible makeup products on your tutorials! Such a down to earth and actually really elegant approach!!!
I'm really envious of people who find their perfect foundation shade, they put on a little here and there and it looks like skin, even and beautiful. By the time I actually find mine , will I have a face anymore? Lol idk. I love this , so natural and luminous!
Yes, sometimes I just use concealer around my mouth and under my eyes, and that's it (if I have a very good looking skin at that day)! You have taught me to put products on certain places. And how to put them. People think I have no makeup and I say: I have quite some products on myself 😁 (concealer, blush, powder, illuminating base, brow gel, barely-there mascara, dabbed lipstick,...)
I’m always amazed how you make expert techniques accessible for the everyday person. This look works for literally any workplace that allows make up and I could see a winged eyeliner and some sparkle on the lid for amping it up and it would still be such a good look! The skin looks so natural and glossy without looking too dewy it’s highlighted. It just looks so modern and polished!
Gosh, I love your tutorials Lisa. This technique is invaluable for someone my age (62) as I have so many variables on my face! I blame the menopause! I hate the mask like full coverage looks that seem so popular at present. It looks fake and plastic. Thank you so much for sharing all your knowledge with us. ❤️
I have watched your videos since I was a teenager (and can even recall submitting a cat eyeliner to MyLisaLook!) and feel SO grateful to have been taught from such a young age by you. It has been a blessing to adopt your sensible, healthy and classic approach to makeup ❤️
Hi Lisa, it's amazing how little make up well applied can make such a beautiful transformation. Thanks for sharing your knowledge with us! So kind of you. Lots of love! Maru
You have taught me so much. I don’t have a large income, cannot afford luxury things, but you always include something within my reach, (like the Verse gel I actually have), & I love that. Another flawless look. You have a talent for makeup & for teaching. Thank you. :D
Oh I'm glad you asked us for requests! I would be so grateful for any help... My mom is having a book published this year (go mom!) and she has asked me to take her portrait for the About The Author section. She is in her 70's and has never worn makeup or used anything much for her appearance other than a simple face wash, depilatories and a hairbrush. So no facials, no procedures, no face creams or serums. As with any senior person she has some, wrinkles, sagging, discoloration, but she also spends a lot of time gardening and exposed to sun and the elements. Our goal is to just have her skin look healthy and natural on camera. We don't want to necessarily hide her age, but what are the "must-do" things for when it comes to prepping mature skin for photos?
Lisa, if you've never read "The Art Spirit", written in the 1920's by painter Robert Henri, you should check it out! You seem to have a very intuitive understanding of beauty and how to create it; I think you would feel quite in sync with a lot of the ideas in this book! And now that I'm looking at pictures of Robert Henri's paintings again, he did a lovely job of creating beautiful, almost palpable temperatures of the skin tones in his portraits. A patchwork(!) of warm and cool tones, that I think a makeup artist might appreciate. ❤️ Love your work! I've been a fan for a long time! -Kay from the U.S.
I’d love to see more cosmetic history videos this year 🥰 tutorials of makeup looks from other eras, showing more of your collection, the history of lipstick! Xx
Awwww Mr Wayne Goss. Love him. And I could watch Lisa paint a house! I much prefer it when Lisa’s videos don’t have a scroll because I like watching all the tippy tapping and detailed work in real time. But only because it’s Lisa’s work of genius!
This video focussing minutely on the techniques...with a couple of decade-long loved products thrown in...makes me nostalgic. Your techniques deserve appreciation like no other. Loved the video. Thank you, Lisa.
I’ve just found your channel and my mind is blown! Thank you for sharing so many techniques for actually using makeup not just reviewing products. I aim for a natural makeup look 99% of the time and that’s not always so easy but your tips are gold
Lisa I missed this kind of videos in which you work on yourself, especially this showing the look I usually want to achieve because I like to look natural but better... it's great to watch how you get it. Thank you
The best and most elegant mua in the world! I’ve got the same mascara and that gloss of yours so I can try! Lately I don’t suffer high coverage make up and I prefer myself wearing a discrete make up. Thank you so much for this elegant proposal
I’d love to see a classic “english rose” makeup - with pale skin, country-inspired rosy cheeks and lips - ala Tess of the D’Urbervilles - for Valentine’s Day or spring!
CONGRATS ON 2 MILLION... oh my gosh, what a sensational start of 2022!! Absolutely mesmerizing how refined one can look with so little. Seamless.. xx..
I love it! I commented before good to know this is called patchwork technique . Your makeup work is basically small details you build up to a flawless final look. Like a Renaissance artist
Hi, Lisa! I've been doing this almost everyday for years now and I've learned it from you. I've always hated thick skin makeup but I have rosacea that I need to cover. I don't think I could handle my skin condition without the techniques you taught me over the years. Thank you so much!
Stunning and so well explained, as usual! You have no dark circles, but I sure do! Would love to see a video on camouflaging the under eye. Thank you, Lisa! You are amazing
LOL Lisa, I was sooooo tickled to hear that you too couldn’t get your own product as it was “out of stock”. I’ve been after your velvet cinnabar since prelaunch and still waiting… Thanks for another fresh face vid. Love it and will try it out tomorrow morning. Ciao!
I love watching your transformations both dramatic and subtle. If you haven't done this before, I would love to see a natural makeup look for mature, textured skin.
I have the feeling you really enjoyed making that video Lisa... Nothing like a good old geek out over the technicalities of makeup for you (fun to watch too) happy new year x
Lisa is a true artist.❤ Knowing the right products to use, where and how to use them and being able to adjust all variables to suit each person and situation. I’ve learned so much over the years mainly the techniques- which are genius. The end result is always beautiful. Thanks for the education!
Been watching you for over 5 years, you taught me how to do makeup and you still to this day blow me away with your looks! I’ll definetly be trying this patchwork technique! Especially for date nights! Love you Lisa 💕
As a working mom I obviously don't have time for all this in the mornings BUT you have taught me to be thoughtful with make up. To apply It only where I actually need it and also to be gentle with the application. I'd love to see the opposite as well. 10-minute make up for moms on the run. Using cream, multi-tasking products and preferably fingers so we don't have to wash a bunch of brushes every night. Thank you :)
In love with that gloss and those earring charms😍 so beautiful! I love learning new techniques from you! Starting as a young teenager interested in makeup, to now being a makeup artist your videos are so educational. I love your analogies!
I noticed you using this technique in previous videos, thanks for a full tutorial. I have incorporated this technique into my routine and feel like I look fresher/ more youthful.
I saw the video yesterday and now (next day morning) I watched it again, putting on makeup copying you...I can say that my skin looks beautiful, so natural and fresh. Thank you, Lisa. Now I have a new everyday makeup look.
We are so fortunate to have one of the best makeup artists in the world teach us how to apply makeup with no charge. This is like a masterclass! PS: even your bare skin looks incredible!
This is the look I would like to achieve for every day. Fresh, radiant and plumped skin. Suffering from acne since I was 13, dark circles (not very dark, but you can see them, so for me the concealer is essential) and mixed-oily skin, it becomes difficult for me to have a no make-up-make up result. I've been following her for decades and for me Lisa Eldridge is the only and inimitable. With few products she always manages to create a masterpiece. ❤️
Simply the best. I love that Lisa incorporates products from all price points without feeling the need to point it out. Also love that she continues to utilize others’ products rather than just her own. She is truly a masterful, class act. 💗
Also, I have to say that I have never seen someone put makeup on so elegantly & looking so beautiful & radiant the entire time. You have such an elegant aura. In every frame of the video, your face is mesmerizing. ✨✨✨✨
I remember watching the pinpoint concealing video years ago, and it changed the way I did makeup. Seeing your results makes me realize I could use a lot less foundation than I'm currently using, and it would look amazing. The older I get the more obvious foundation gets. Especially if it settles into any lines on my face. I realize that a full pump of most foundations is just too much. That's why I appreciate the pump on your foundation bottle is significantly less than other standard pumps. I'm so glad you tried the Wayne Goss duo. It's a favorite of mine. I like how it's a little bit radiant, but not really glowy. As somebody with the fair skin tone, it's a great match for a little bit of contour and bronze but not too much. Thanks again for making this video, and I can't wait until your blush is back in stock. I have three of the shades, and would love to pick up some more.
What a gorgeous natural look, I wish my skin was good enough to carry this off, I’ve got way too many broken capillaries to hide! More videos please… I love watching how you work x
I love this makeup, as a makeup artist, I tend to this same approach, never repeating a sequence of products, always looking for the best product application on each area, for every need. I'd love to see you create a very graphic look, since it's been a while you haven't done this kind of makeup on your channel. Have a great 2022, love your work!
I love this video so much, Lisa- I’ve been working on my own version of a “patchwork” technique, especially for foundation/concealer products because I hate that caked on look that can happen when there are too many products uniformly layered, one over the other. This technique gives such a a lovely finished look while not being mask-like. I definitely learned some new things in this one (as I always do with your videos). Thank you!
This is absolutely wonderful! I'm constantly amazed at just how many things I continue to learn from you - despite watching and rewatching your videos for about 11 years now. You've taught me so so much and I always thank you for it!
So Liza what you are saying is - identify the skin issues , use correction suited to those issues just limit it to that area and not the whole face . I’m going to go through your video again ; but eager to try it . Think this will be a lot lighter and not cakey at all . You are really sweet to share your secrets
I loved this. It felt like your videos way back showing your own loved techniques. Thank you. In 2022 I'd love to see an in-depth video about under eye dark circles. Also about different types of brows. Mine are a bit unruly and I can't quite work out how to get a good shape.
Thank you Lisa, I had a horrible crazy spot bang in the middle of my cheek thanks to recent mask wearing!!! Your pin point concealing has been a godsend this week!!!!!! 😘
Beautiful. I smile and sigh over your skills. Even, radiant skin, luminous eyes, shining lips. You don't apply makeup, you paint with makeup. Thank you. Happy New year!! xo
Thank you so much for the class on this technique! As someone with dry, sensitive, and eczema prone skin in my face it sometimes feels like I need a full face of base to even out the discolorations. This video is now saved for future use in the coming days of winter to see if I can pull it off! Especially since I can mix and match my concealers to match my undertone complexion. I truly love your videos as they are educational and encouraging to use what works best and is preferred by the consumer. Happy New Year!
I love this and your pinpoint technique, however would you at all be able to show this and the pinpoint technique on someone with darker skin tone (ie Naomie Harris)? I’m would love to see how this technique can be used on darker skins. Thank you!!!
Brilliant as always. I love that you show what you "preach", if it's natural it's definitely natural. Love learning from you, and even my way of doing makeup have changed over the years and definitely it's inspired by your way of doing it. Love you, always ❤️
One of my favorite videos of yours is the beautifying party/prom makeup from 10 years ago! Would love another one of those! It’s a perfect less is more look ❤️
Hi Lisa, patchwork skin is such a great analogy. I have similar skin to yourself, combination with a more oily t zone and some open pores. I've been using this technique as I've got older, particularly for nightime skincare but you've given me the confidence to apply differing skincare products during the day. I love your natural make up tutorials, they are perfect for an older bird like me! I want to look polished but not overdone. Take care x
Great video as always! What I would really like to see is another acne covering tutorial, something similar to this but on a model with acne. Your original one on acne from several years ago is great, but it seems like the visual quality of your videos has improved so much since then that it would be amazing to have an updated video where we could see even more clearly what you're doing.
another hard day today. I found out that I've been made redundant. After a lasagne and chips as my comfort food, I've sat down to watch. You're my relaxation video. I love watching you in action!
I decided a while back to use gel cream in my t-zone and the heavier cream on my neck and the outer part of my face where it gets really dry. The fact that you are doing it in this video makes me excited and confirms I'm on the right track!!!
I”be been doing my face this way for years. I hate heavy all over foundations and I use concealer/foundation/powder on different areas of my face depending on its needs that day.
I'd love to see a tutorial on undereye concealing with a model/models that have different undereye "issues." I know you put out a model search pre pandemic and I'd love to see it happen!
Yes especially those with dark hollow under eyes
Yes same. I’d like to see a model with large pores/texture all over.
Me too! I need to learn how to cover my dark under eyes in a natural way.
@@salmomo14 same - i have very defined tear troughs. skin texture is very different
I have hereditary dark circles and hollow undereyes.. I'd definitely lend my face!!...
My whole makeup routine is based on your techniques. Mine too!! ♥️ thank you Lisa♥️
Same! 💕
Me too! Thanks for the tips.
Your videos are like no others out there; perfected techniques that really help your viewers. It feels like we get a personal consultation!❤️
Very well said !
So well said ! Her videos are the best !
Amen to that; well said and it’s for free!

Yes great technique here. Only thing I don't understand is why she never powders her nose. Her chin is matte but she leaves her nose quite shiny.
I’ve been watching a lot of the older Pin point concealing videos recently, it’s such a nice technique and I think reminds us all that foundation is designed to give a sense of uniformity, not to delete every imperfection. Same here!
Same! I owe it to Lisa in her Tv show.
That looks so good, she looks polished and luminous!

It’s very enjoyable to watch a genuine makeup artist “à l’œuvre “! Merci Lisa!
Exactement. Très bien dit !

Oh, one I haven’t seen yet. I adore books on art! Thanks for adding to my list! 🤍
I’d love to see more cosmetic history videos this year 🥰 tutorials of makeup looks from other eras, showing more of your collection, the history of lipstick! Xx
I cherish Lisa’s wonderful book on the history of our fascination with painted faces! 💜

I just love your foundation. The first time I actually found the perfect match! I hope a concealer is on the launch list.
So happy you are loving it 😍 xxx
This video focussing minutely on the techniques...with a couple of decade-long loved products thrown in...makes me nostalgic. Your techniques deserve appreciation like no other. Loved the video. Thank you, Lisa.
Please do a 1930s, Old Hollywood Marlene Dietrich/Jean Harlow look
Great idea! X
Oooh yes!
I’ve just found your channel and my mind is blown! Thank you for sharing so many techniques for actually using makeup not just reviewing products. I aim for a natural makeup look 99% of the time and that’s not always so easy but your tips are gold
The tiny lipstick earring is adorable!
Your hair looks very voluminous in this video. This hair is my favorite on you.
Great video!Thank you
You do THE BEST make up tutorials. So practical, wearable and natural. Thank you!

So aesthetically pleasing to watch, a naturally enhanced beauty ❤
Beautiful! So natural. ❤️
Please do a skin and makeup tutorial for the over 70’s. Thanks
Love this beautiful natural look ❤
This was absolutely lovely. Lisa is the queen of doing natural base face makeup. I absolutely love when she does a full face like this 😍
Love how your makeup complement/in sync with the lovely outfit you wearing 💖
Clicked immediately! Watching you is where my love of makeup began!! Natural looking that is!❤❤
In love with that gloss and those earring charms😍 so beautiful!
I absolutely loved when the Clinique Airbrush was brought out again 💜💜
I saw the video yesterday and now (next day morning) I watched it again, putting on makeup copying you...I can say that my skin looks beautiful, so natural and fresh. Thank you, Lisa. Now I have a new everyday makeup look.
@Whatsaap me ➊➍➊0➏➒➐➋➒➏➋ You crazy evil fake person, stop sending people these false messages to deceive them.
We are so fortunate to have one of the best makeup artists in the world teach us how to apply makeup with no charge. This is like a masterclass!
PS: even your bare skin looks incredible!
Why is this women so perfect? I can listen her all day. Love the way she talks also she is like from other century. Like she is queen. 😍
Clinique Airbrush Concealer is a classic one from the very beginning of your videos. I'm happy to see it's back.
Love watching you work Lisa! I’ve learned so much on your channel over the years
This is a gorgeous way to put make up on. And quite therapeutic to watch ❤
✨✨✨✨
Lily Collins or Keira Knightley looks please! ❤️❤️❤️❤️ And thank you for this great video on skin; it's really helpful!
I remember watching the pinpoint concealing video years ago, and it changed the way I did makeup. Seeing your results makes me realize I could use a lot less foundation than I'm currently using, and it would look amazing. The older I get the more obvious foundation gets.
Amazing minimalist look! Fresh & soft!
What an absolute joy to watch and learn and love the finished look.. stunning. Thank you.
Stumbling upon your channel in my early 20's is the best thing that has happened to my face make-up wise.
I do remember you from years back. Especially your beautiful gemstone rings!
Up and down weather in Coastal Washington too, so I doubly appreciate this video. Thank you for the time you spend doing these for us! 💜

I’m going to go through your video again ; but eager to try it . Think this will be a lot lighter and not cakey at all . You are really sweet to share your secrets
i'm also got lost while watching the video. Not sure the techniques or directions for this technique is abt...
Lisa, periwinkle is your colour! Looking absolutely stunning, thank you for the beautiful tutorial 💜
I LOVE these in depth tutorials, I learn a lot from them. Also love getting product recommendations :) Thank you!!
I did this look this morning. It’s perfect for a simple day makeup.
Lisa your tutorials are like an event! Your just other worldly! Amazing! X
Lisa's techniques are always superior. Love them.
True artistry in this video, Lisa. I’m inspired to get back into makeup after giving it a rest for a while
Beautiful. I smile and sigh over your skills. Even, radiant skin, luminous eyes, shining lips. You don't apply makeup, you paint with makeup. Thank you. Happy New year!! xo
Thank you Lisa! I would love to see a new skin care routine video.
the makeup is gorgeous as always but I couldn't take my eyes off that little lipstick earring! how cute!
The airbrush concealer takes me back to when I first started watching your channel nearly 10 years ago!
Lisa, your skin before makeup looks gorgeous! Super even. Smooth. My skin has been so textured lately. Great video! So pretty!
Love your perfectionism and the joy the teaching gives you, it makes me smile!
Your pinpoint concealer technique has been my best beauty secret for years ! I love it
I love this and your pinpoint technique, however would you at all be able to show this and the pinpoint technique on someone with darker skin tone (ie Naomie Harris)?
Your techniques are absolutely mesmerizing
Happy new year Lisa, so happy to see you
Happy New Year! x
another hard day today. I found out that I've been made redundant. After a lasagne and chips as my comfort food, I've sat down to watch. You're my relaxation video. I love watching you in action!
I'm continually amazed by your flawless technique. 🤩
I decided a while back to use gel cream in my t-zone and the heavier cream on my neck and the outer part of my face where it gets really dry. The fact that you are doing it in this video makes me excited and confirms I'm on the right track!!!
Would love to see a natural 5 or 10 minute makeup. You do light makeup so well💗
Thank you Lisa! I'm 56 and my makeup never looked so good! Thanks so much!
I”be been doing my face this way for years. I hate heavy all over foundations and I use concealer/foundation/powder on different areas of my face depending on its needs that day.
I really like this method
It got something so calming 😊 When I'm doing my make up I tend to do it naturally
