Thank you. I wish you have a wonderful new year too. (Great use of Japanese! ^^ Linleyさんも、よいお年をお迎えください。 ) I hope you can go back to Nara and see more dears. 🦌
We really enjoyed how you found less crowded areas to visit despite the fact that Nara is is a popular tourist destination. Also, we like your strategy of staying over night, which enables you to visit locations during the quiet times.
Thank you so much for your support and a Happy New Year Kevin san Dale san! It’s always experiment what I can see, but Nara turned out to be a place worth waking up early. :) Thank you again. 😊
Happy New Years Ken san and this video is a great way to finish off 2024! Nara is a beautiful place and i have been lucky enough to visit but I completely missed that amazing garden! Cant wait to see the rest of Nara region in the future videos.
Happy New Year Mat san! Thank you so much for watching many videos this year. I was speechless in the garden. I couldn't visit another garden this time, so I'd like to visit next time. :)
I couldn't really enjoy Nara when I visited because there were so many people. But it looks really different in your video. Getting up super early is definitely worth it.
Thank you for watching. Yes. I'm thinking of exploring Nakasendo. I'm sure I'll visit south of Wakayama but not sure if I get deep into Kumano Kodo. :)
This is such a good guide. Thanks you ❤ You really convinced me to go to Nara next time I am in Japan in 2026. Also such a great idea to go to the temple at 6 am looks so peaceful ❤
Nara is very interesting and definitely a place I would like to explore. I LOVE those adorable deer who bow for their snacks. Don't worry about saying the word beautiful too much. It is a very fitting descriptive English word. We English love our gardens as well. I've been looking for a Japanese maple tree to plant in my garden. They are so beautiful. Thank you for taking the early morning walk. I am an early riser so that was a perfect time of day to explore whilst avoiding the crowds. Great vid. Thank you.
Thank you for watching this video and also your thoughtful comments. The garden, morning walk through temples and shrine and deers were highlights of this stay in Nara. :) I hope you can get yo visit Nara. :)
As you have said, so so so beautiful, and also super helpful. Thank you much! We will be traveling to Nara in two weeks and would love to do the morning walk as you recommend 👍
When I visited Nara, my two highlights were: Kasuga-Taisha shrine - there, be sure to visit the place where you have to pay a small admission fee (I dont remember the name of it). Its so beautiful and really worth it. And feeding the deer. We got a cabbage at a shop and cut it up into pieces before going to Nara park, and fed the cabbage to the deer. They loved it, and I think it is also healthier for them as the crakers. Beware however, the deer can be quite demanding, so we fed them only with a bench nearby, so that we could "save" ourselfs and jump onto the bench. Our third highlight was a delicious lunch in a tiny restaurant, run by an old charming japanese lady. Just a few seats, in a living room looking like my late grandmothers living room, no menu, no english. A delicious Sukiyaki set meal, and even though we dont speak japanese, we felt very comfortable and welcome there. Sadly, I dont remember the name of this tiny restaurant.
なつかしい 🎏✨ I love Nara. Its very beautiful. Next time I will have to stay over night and visit the Heijou area and the west side kofuns. Yamanobe inaka and east side kofuns are beautiful too.
You finish 2024 with another great video Kengo. Thank you for the many great videos that you made for us in 2024. I very much appreciate your hard work and the high quality videos. Switzerland is so far away from Japan, so when I see your videos, its always a little bit like being in Japan. Have a great start into 2025. All the best to you, your family, your friends and Kenny ! I look very much forward to enjoy more great videos from you in 2025.

Hi, I think that gift shop owes you some commission. I went to Nara yesterday and visited the same shop. That tote bag is no longer available. But Nara is beautiful, just 40 minutes on subway from Kyoto. very convenient. Thank you for sharing. 🙏
