For the newbie if you are actually trading in the crypto space and you don't have a sound mentor. Then you are certainly going to get liquidated in 90% of your trades. Yeah that's the sad truth. I remember when I just got into crypto back in 2019 but later in 2020 I ended up selling it because I have lost alot trading all by myself without a guide. Usually it's risky trading the stock market even as an expert but then professional advice and guidance is always the best else losses become inevitable.
I'm 54 and my wife and I are VERY worried about our future, gas and food prices rising daily. I would use higher timeframes, first 15 min, then 30 min, 1 hour max (exceptionally though) and of course backtest everything for minimum 2 months before adding it to my strategies :)
@@pierredeflaux2112 I'm going back and testing it on Nas100 & Gold futures. Not many setups available. Charts typically "blow up" with NYSE open... daily highs and lows up to 9:30 are much more narrow. Nas had a setup 20% of the time and all were profitable. Haven't found one on Gold yet.

Good video. I actually use a very similar strategy that has about a 80% win rate. I use the 15 instead of 5 minute, then instead of waiting for a market structure shift I just use the first fair value gap formed after the liquidity grab and use the same take profit as you did. The fair value gap is the most important part in my opinion

In short: How do you define the liquidity zone is it the last high and low before the 9:30 am est opening and So the entry period is within the 9:30 -11:00 am window and the take profit bar before the market closes ? What if it’s just under the bar before the close do you recommend setting the bar lower than the high liquidity zone bar?
High and low of the chart is pretty non specific.

Thanks for the strategy. Since you trade from market start time to 11 AM ET, I presume you mark the liquidity zones before the market start. How far back do you go to mark the liquidity zones? Is it only the last trading day? Pls clarify.
open on trading view right click on chart settings symbol data modification choose session extended trading hours ,it is starting 4 am so after 4 am mark highs and lows until the market opens 9:30 am and wait where the price is heading up to

Why not? You can follow a skilled trader and learn how they trade. That way, you earn the money and the experience
I’ve copied trades from a licensed wealth manager over the past few years and its better than trading blindly on your own if youre an absolute newbie. It would give you a better understanding of what's happening but keep in mind that the success of copying another trader is dependable on their transparency. That's actually how I was able to raise a profit of $580K within 7 months of active sessions.

After 9:30 because that’s when market opens, before 11 because after is lunch time when a lot of people take profits

I don’t understand how to identify the pivot point, “the previous lower high”. Is that simply the point at which it most recently peaked, before coming down? If so, how do I know that is the pivot point, and not the peak that happens shortly after?
