Bayonetta 2 - Chapter XVI: Final Boss & Ending Pure Platinum with Jeanne (∞ Climax No Accessories)

It’s finally over..
Aesir is really stupid so I wasn't being nearly as aggressive, but it worked because I managed to get through his last phase without resetting. Balder actually makes things a lot harder than they need to be in the first phase and Aesir's stupid tracking orbs can damage you even when you get Moth Within.. That's part of the reason I just wanted to get completely out of the way this time.
I tried using the Hammer but couldn't really get it working and would get hit during Umbran Climax.. All 4 One ended up being a lot safer and still take huge chunks out of his health with Umbran Climax.
This will be the last Pure Platinum playthrough I do, I ended up completing every Chapter using Jeanne and no accessories.. It was pretty bad at times to be perfectly honest. There's just no way of knowing exactly when a lot of attacks actually deal damage and in a lot of Verses you just can't see the hits coming at all.
Unfortunately you actually need Moth Within or to fight enraged enemies but taunts are generally too slow and last too long, and some enemies basically just spam grabs which you can't get Moth Within off of. Using most weapons without Bracelet of Time is a lot of luck in some Verses, and literally impossible for others.
The game is definitely a lot of fun, but Pure Platinum just feels really random and unfair at times. I also feel like Bayonetta doesn't get enough Witch Time while Jeanne's Moth Within activation is too strict considering how quick or deceptive most attacks are. Rosa is just too overpowered, but Jeanne's Umbran Climax is also pretty broken at times.
There might be a few more uploads, I'll probably go through and try testing any weapons I didn't end up using much. I've completed every Chapter without the Rodin or accessories now. There was just a few Verses and parts where they would have really helped.. Stupid grab spamming Fearless and Fairness.

It would be weird to hear Jeanne say “Mummy” or “Daddy” with her proper voice actress. Though I think we won’t see any more of Rosa and balder in the third game

Triangle Da Noob I think we will since she like cereza in bayo one, she doesn’t have her mark on her face which might mean that it takes place before bayo makes her pact with madama butterfly and everything points to bayo 3 being a prequel to everything

It's weird though. Jeanne should have her own incantation when she summons Shiva. But of course, this is Cereza and Balder, Daddy-Daughter moment. Might as well point it out.

Of course Jeanne’s Umbran Climax is broken, they tell you her wicked weaves are stronger than Bayonetta’s anyway. Moth Within is stricter because Jeanne is way more precise

Justitia Nomen She does 1.5x damage so it obviously looks and feels better, LiB is a lot more lenient with how you can summon demons with the umbran climax, whilst you have to spam X a few times to summon Styx at the end of the 5 punch combo.
Jeanne is fun to play when you know how to Moth consistently

Yes and Rosa even hits harder. What i love about Jeanne besides the feeling of getting of Moth Within, is that ingame lore included that the reason she has such stricter witch time proc is not because she can't, its just because unlike bayonetta, she's does this on purpose to put a limiter on herself and training purposes(if i recall correctly that is, along those lines)

Isn't Moth Within WAAAAAY easier to activate this time around? B1's dodge windows were so long that you couldn't really get hit during them, whereas dodging in this game is stricter but allowed easier access to Bat Within by mashing the dodge button?

Dude... I have a problem... My first playthrough in NSIC was with Rosa and now I'm playing with Jeanne. But I cannot record her score in this chapter because of the crazy high combo score rosa received in the mech suit verse of the credits, and Rosa will always be better in time medals anyways. Any advice?

@@JezzY8ValentinE actually in Nintendo Switch version, Climax Brace 2 allows you to record the chapter score. Climax brace 1 on the other hand still keeps the restriction. but I managed to overscore Rosa in the aesir fight so I completed PP with Jeanne
