The epic Saiyan, Namek and Android Sagas were absolute masterpieces of a narrative. Peak Dragon Ball, from Raditz to Cell greatness after greatness. Raditz's arrival and Trunks's epic intro and goku's SSJ transformarion these were the three moments that revolutionized animanga. Great video Michael.

I love how Kakarot handled Gohan's death with him firing a kamehameha at the Androids' onslaught
Edit: also aoi kaze no hope is one of Kageyama's best DB songs imo, it makes me a bit teary when I i hear it
Yeee that scene is one of my absolute favorites in the game. I always felt like Gohan needed a last stand

For which analysis I'd personally like to see next, I'd love to see Wrath of the Dragon. It's the longest of the original movies and one of the more complex ones storywise. I feel like there would be a lot to unpack there. c:

@@Japaninhimself Yeah, I’m definitely planning on talking about the original 13 films at some point…I think I have far too many issues with them so just thinking the best way to go about it lol
There's one thing that bugs me about this particular story universe. I felt Gohan never really achieved the potential he had in the main Prime DBverse, he lost everybody particularly Piccolo and Krillin! He should have achieved at least his Cell Ass kicking levels, but then again it'd be bad for the drama of Trunks' story I suppose!
@@TheChristramontano you’re 100% right. At the end of the day, everything in a story is done for the convenience of that specific story. Though one could argue he never got the same training from his father that aided in him achieving super saiyan 2 in the first place.
