I finally managed to film my alternative shoe collection!
This has been requested a lot, so I really hope you enjoy this video 🖤
This one is slightly different from my other videos, but you can think of it as a massive shoe haul and review, as I included comments on how these boots / shoes fit me, sizing, and quality.
I didn't want this video to be too long, so I only included my favorite boots, shoes, sandals, and sneakers.
You can expect a lot of crazy shoes, extreme heels, monster high / bratz style boots, and massive platforms.

oh my god you can't believe how reassuring this video was because i thought i was just being rough on my demonias! i had to patch a hole in the back of a pair of boots, and the bows on my creepers keep falling off, so i'm glad to know it's not just me being horrible to my shoes and that demonias are very delicate shoes!

@@meghasummerpappachen4494 babe its been 5 months, i got a new pair of demonias that're durable as all hell, and quite frankly, i dont really care anymore. whatever you wanna think fr though.
Yes! I don't really think Demonias' quality is that bad, but that every shoe or boot with an extremely high heel is doomed to die much earlier than something lower because the platform can't bend the way our feet usually do, so there's gonna be extra pressure and the sole is gonna come off at some point. It would require a totally different construction to make them last much longer, and it wouldn't be worth it if they're made of synthetic materials, because PVC doesn't last very long either even if it's never used.
Unfortunately for us, no matter how kind we are with these shoes, they're gonna die sooner rather than later, which is a pity taking into account their price, but I don't think anything that's not extremely expensive is gonna be built differently.
@@grub6822I don’t think they are trying to be offensive I mean shoes that expensive should last. My doc martens lasted me YEARS until I literally lost them and they probably would have lasted much longer bc they were still in good condition and I wore them everywhere. I get that some shoes aren’t gonna last as long like heels but $200 shoes should last at least a few years before they start showing actual damage and not just wear and tear like scuffing.
Excellent video! I love listening to you explain each item. Your wardrobe is very interesting. You could never bore us! I would love to see photos of how you styled each show throughout the years. It wonderful to hear how you have kept and worn clothes and shoes for many years.

my heart stopped so many times during this video I should now be declared dead! OMFG what a collection! Even if you're not into sandals I advise you to check what Teva has done lately with super high flatforms: I bought a Mevia gladiator pair with 2 inches flatforms that are absolutely amazing

Thank you!! I haven't had any problems with Koi. I'm wearing their Jinx trainers right now. They've become my go to whenever I leave my house and I'm really happy with them. Maybe I got lucky or maybe some designs last longer than others, but so far my only problem with them is sizing.

In general, all of your shoes are very anesthetic and extra in the best way. They are all beautiful, I didn't see something weird or much which is just casual, you have a great taste. I as a man like to see them as much as you probably like to wear them, this video was a special experience and I thank you deeply for doing this 🥳 Really hope this doesn't sound weird, I like what you do in general. About your shoes, the Boots from the very beginning from New Rock look as comfy as you describe them, I need some too for the winters 😃 The boots from Miss Sixty next then are especially pretty while they are very basic. Another place you can find things like pleaser, demonia, doc martens, converse, sometimes even new rock would be Facebook marketplace. There are so many new or barley used shoes that no one wants for WAY cheaper.
I live in Spain so, unfortunately, there are no second hand pleasers or demonias and if someone ever lists a pair they're more expensive than new or completely ruined :(
I really need to replace my sky-387 shoes but for now I just glued and painted them. They look decent enough to continue using them for videos, but I really want to get a new pair at some point 🖤

I looked at the size of my old Demonias and used to for Killstar boots and they have been correct size for me.
Are they US size UK size or EU size?
For Demonia: US 8 = EUR 38
For Killstar: US 8 = EUR 39
I picked US 8 for both and the Killstar shoes I got were too big.

I was talking about this brand with a friend a couple of days ago!! The last time I checked their web they didn't have the option to pay customs in advance so, unfortunately, I don't think I'll be able to get anything from them, because you never know what extra taxes Spain is gonna come up with to charge you more than what the original item cost :(

38 is a UK size 5 :) However I ordered from koi footwear before and I found their sizing really off, some places I have to size up, others I can go down, I think that's just how it is with some brands here

Hello! At 3:30, I have an exact pair of New Rock boots that I truly adore! I love them so much!! When I first got them, they did hurt a lot and I got some bad blisters. I saw another UA-camr that had a similar pair of these and the UA-camr explain that she wet both her feet and boots with water and then dried them with a blow dryer. Have you done that technique before? Also when you first got these boots, did the hurt. These specific boots are called New Rock reactor boots M272-S1 knee high.
I've never tried that! I assume that, since they're real leather, that would help alter their shape to make them suit your feet better.
Although I've never had problems with them, I always wear them with socks because, whenever I use fishnets alone, I do get blisters, but I'm pretty sure that's because of the friction with the fishnets and not because of the boots.
Hi! I have not tried wet feet technique either. I had these boots for almost a year( since October of 2021) and I haven’t wear them as much as I want to. As I mentioned earlier, there is another UA-camr that is a goth fashion and make up fan that has a pair of those boots that are similar to yours. However, the only thing that is different with her boots is that she has a one inch heel that is used to lock your boots when you are riding a motorcycle. If you are interested in this wet boot technique, follow her channel. Her name is Ree Ree Phillips. When you go onto UA-cam, type in her name and scroll down until you see a video called New Rock Vampiree boots review. In that video, she explains the wet boot trick! I hope that helps and I enjoy your videos. You rock and keep it up!!!

the koi footwear hardware boot is probably weird with sizing cause i think its meant to be a men's shoe.
They have a separate listing for the men's version, but it might be possible. I've only had problems with two boots from them, the rest fit me perfectly in a UK6.

I don't know why I'm watching this tbh, I love the gothic alternative style(s) but when it comes to shoes I am sol. I can hardly ever find tennis shoes to fit me, I have short wide feet and my calves are thick with muscle. In boots the smallest I've been able to fit were size 9's and that was only ones that had stretchy bands for the leg. I couldn't hope to get even 1 pair of shoes to fit me and if I did it would have to be custom talored and I am broke. I wish I could wear some nice gothic platform boots and I hope one day I can maybe get a pair but it is more likely I would become the president of the US-

I am American and we don't have the sizes you mention in your videos (centimeters). How do they translate to American sizes? For example, 6, 7, 8, etc.
Thank you so much! Those are not real sizes, that's my feet length, because I know it can be used as reference. Most of my shoes are from the US (Demonia, Dolls Kill) and I usually wear an American 8.

i wanted to ask if out of the shoes you left out, have you had a pair of new rock metallic M-106-C66 or similar? if yes, would you recommend them as every day shoes for a high schooler? they're quite pricy but i am willing to make the investment if they can serve me for a long time! thank you so much for the video!!
Thanks! I have the New Rock metallic Spider Web (that's the name I've been able to find online). It's a different design, but I think it has the same sole. I used them as everyday shoes for some time and I had no issues with them, other than the spiderwebs rubbing off in some areas after extensive use.
I've been told that some of their newer designs aren't as long lasting as they used to be, so I can't say for sure if they've changed their standards or what is going on. I know the boots I got around 20 years ago are still in mint condition, but a pair I got more recently isn't looking as good.
I have Demonia Bolt 400 Boots I have never known boots to let in water like them I think most Tea Bags are more Waterproof.
