NICE.. I bought the same van new. Had the 360ci and only the captain chairs installed. It was loaded but no interior waiting to be customized. This was really a fun project and was a great vehicle.
It would be interesting to know/see what these guys, with the older dodge vans do as far as upgrading the alternator system. Especially with thos guy adding the rear ac. He has to have some sort of upgraded alternator to carry that extra draw.
What an amazing van, but it’s not rust free, as the guy says. 3:38 you can see rust on the door seal shut area, and perforated door bottom. But still, for it to only be that bad for a ‘77 is really impressive. Love the carpet. Nice van.
I put shag carpets in so many Van's in the 70,s and 80,s of my own and for people and still use it in the Van's I do. Should be illegal to use anything else lol. Nice van
I bought a brand new 1979 chevy van ,ive always been a chevy person but to me Dodge Ford and Chevy all had nice looking nans back then nowdays i dont think any of them look good ,,nice van sir
Even the newer ones I had a 2000 durango 5.2 that made it to 490k miles and the trans took a dump so I sold it for cheap to one of my friends so he could get some wheels going he still got it and it's well over 600k now
Dodge made some great vans
Yes sir. From the B200 until the RAMS. LIke those, vans that won't be back
Mid 70's Dodge vans are badass. I used to own a '75 Tradesman 100.

And of course a bottle of Makers in the fridge for those off times. ;-)
There's a guy out there with a black '77(on you tube)...he knows a guy that makes chrome trim rings for your taillights for 130 bucks.

U cant kill a 318 I've personally seen a truck with a 318 that had over 700k miles and only problem was it went through two transmissions!
Even the newer ones I had a 2000 durango 5.2 that made it to 490k miles and the trans took a dump so I sold it for cheap to one of my friends so he could get some wheels going he still got it and it's well over 600k now
