His demeanor seems to say that he was someone's pet before. He knew exactly what a collar was and it seemed to me that he he did pretty good during the shave. Those sores look to be the result of his mats pulling his skin.😢 Just waiting to hear about his lump, his medications and a guesstimate of his age. Poor baby was freezing without his matted coat!! He is such a sweet pup!! Y'all will have no problem finding him his Furever Home!!! ❤ 😍 ❤

Just be careful with the cat collar bc they are breakaway so if you ever leash him and he gets scared and pulls away it could unclip. Its a safety thing.

I understand the cat collar for Billy Bob. I had a Shih Tzu that had a "cat" collar...when he had to wear one because he was tiny, too. All in all, I think the vet visit went about the way I expected it. I'm not surprised there were sores under the matted hair and that he was hookworm and heart-worm positive. Like Billy Bob, my Shih Tzu also had a lump (which turned out to be cancer) in one of his testicles, but that was corrected when I had him fixed. I'm crossing my fingers for the sweet guy!!
He needs a baby doll clothing to stay warm. Hit up G' house or Brees house for a small flannel shirt for him. Plus, it will keep him from licking off his skin salve. He looks so much better shaved.

It’s rare to find a rescue dog that doesn’t have heart worms. Dang mosquitoes. I have house cats and they still get the full monthly treatment. Only take 1 bite from the wrong mosquito. It’s in the flea medicine anyway. Also brings the point that though they don’t go out, you can bring them in.
Billy Bob looks like he had some dachshund in him also, really looking forward to his DNA results,they are so much fun. We've had our results back for our two rescue 's and they are so eye opening, thank you for introducing us to this system. ❤

Yes I think we can all see Lester is just a sucker for an animal that needs a home. He definitely has terrier in him, possibly a Schnauzer. I had a Mini Schnauzer and that’s what he looked like when he was shaved. I love Billy Bob

Poor sweet baby was someone's beloved at one time. He knows what his necklace is. He is so happy to get it on. He knows the comfort of a blanket 😢 makes it even more sad. I love a driving and shopping video with Jami anyday ❤
All the rescues have touched my heart,but something about Billy Bob really gets to me. I'm so glad you are there to help him. Life is about to be 1000% better for him.

It just makes me mad that people can be so horrible to their pets. But thank God you were able to save Billy Bob Jami ❤ he’s a lucky dog.
I think with this guy it’s more likely his former owner passed away and no one knew about him so he had to fend for himself.
I thought that too there's a wheelchair ramp so maybe a senior had him and they passed

LOL Jamie, Love you. My dog sees his colllar as his belonging to us. That may be why Billy Bob wants a colllar and is happy to get it
"I am not going to love him, no I am just saying I am not going to do it" . Yes Lester. We hear you, but we certainly don't believe you. You can't help but love. You and Jamie have such big hearts, it's impossible for you not to fall in love with any creature you rescue. I am still waiting for the next unusual rescue. Lion, hedgehog or maybe a mountain goat?? Let's see what the future brings us. Thank you again a million times over for all you do for these babies.
Yes I think we can all see Lester is just a sucker for an animal that needs a home. He wants to act tough and not fall in love with them but if he were to answer honest I bet the first day they see these babies it’s all over. They are theirs and no one will ever hurt them again. I love them so much.
