A suggestion for the O2 sensor. To help maintain a constant stoichiometric ratio on both banks incorporate an 'X' pipe then situate the sensor to the center as possible.
Loving this journey. I understand the paint the engine dilemma. I do agree, it doesn’t really go with the Scrapstang theme, but if some paint happens to get spilled on it, I’m not going to cry, either way. Do enjoy the aeronautical side of the channel too.
When this project is done I want to see a super cut of every time you move the engine/transmission in or out of the car 😅 Sara-N-Wrap found that local custom fan shop and the ones she got looked pretty cool.
Hi Angel I’d say paint the engine you’ll regret it later if you don’t. New casters for that dog gone engine hoist that’ll fix it. That’s gonna end a hot little Scrap stang. Stay cool
Angel, take one of your poor performing casters to a reseller for warehouse moving supplies, like warehouse carts, dollies and such and see if they do not have a better caster to replace yours with. I found better casters for my 20 year old "discount house" engine lift that way, and the ones I liked cost me about an additional 1/2" to the height of legs.
Hey Angel, sorry to bug you but I need to share some wiring info. The large red constant power shown in your directions really should go straight to the battery. Any voltage drop pulled from the “ignition hub” (electric fans, etc) could interfere with the FiTechs operation. I have learned the hard way, that these EFIs need a “clean” source for their main power. Same for the negative. Sorry, just trying to help you out when the troubleshooting begins. Cheers!
No need to be sorry thats great information! That red wire is linked directly with the other big red cable coming directly from the battery. I will double check everything, thanks for the tip and i welcome any further help!
Im leaning towards Fitech vs Holly sniper 2. Same if not easisr wiring, has timing control, and even with new tank replacement its 100s less then Holly. What made you choose Fitech? Reviews lean favorably towards Holly but usually only people with bad experiences post so im trying not to listen to the noise. I called both companies and I was able to speak to someone almost immediately vs Holly where I was on hold for ........still on hold ;-)
Don't bug me. I'm watching Rookie Pilot.
😉
Buzz buzz mf!
Bathe those stubborn casters in marvel Mystery oil, preferably overnight, or over a weekend if possible...😎

I think wiring is the easiest thing in the world. it's doing it correctly without shocking yourself....that's the hard part....
Thats it right there 😂

Very well said!
Thanks for supporting the flying!
It's almost like you picked up some heavy piece of equipment with that engine hoist, and the casters are protesting!
If only the people knew… we shoulda filmed it!!
It`s all good. It`s your life so do what you do. Rock on.....

Shouldn’t you put oxygen sensor into an H pipe so you get reading for both left and right?
We’ll cover that when we build the exhaust! 😉
@@rookie__pilot I can’t take credit for the idea, Sarah educated me.
Make sure you properly ground your fuse block before you try to start it... just saying.
Were gonna button up and tidy up as we go! Thanks for the help🤘🏼
I was the 289 view today. Guess what my Stang had in it?
289? 🤔😉
