There is a guy here in Mobile Al that has one with a tuned 250 SHO on it. A couple of months ago during a tournament, I was running about 74 on GPS in my Triton 21HP and he came by me like I was tied to a stump.
Welcome to the Xpress family. On my 3rd one in 20 years and love the boat. Sea Dek is the best ever. They really do ride good, very near a glass boat but with other advantages also.
It looks nice! I drive around if I want to travel more than 30 mins..always another boat dock since I'm not fishing tournaments. Love, love , Aluminum bass boats. I gave up multiple fiberglass bass boats to buy a simply amazing hull in a 1988 Fisher Aluminum. It gets in 6-8 inches of water and a 40 horse pushes it 35ish mph and I can run all weekend on about 5 gallons of gas! Since I'm alone 99% of the time it's all the boat I honestly need. Tows like a feather too. Tons easier on my vehicle than those heavy fiberglass boats I used tow around.
Just bought me a 1995 Aluma Weld Xpress 18' H-56 with 85 Yamaha. Never owned a high quality, welded-ALL-aluminum bass boat before, and I'm blown away by it, especially the high performance, radical hull design - I can just sit and stare at it for hours... Even at 27 years old, this boat's handling and performance just takes my breath away. Can't believe my good fortune finding it, and for a "song", at that (compared to a new one)... I'm an Xpress Bass Boat fan for life!
@@LukeDunkinsTravelingCircus I’ve got the previous model H17 which is narrower than the new ones, so it can get into some tight spots. Come on down around Biloxi, and you can take a ride in this one around the marsh

Picking it up next week! Can’t wait. I kind of liked the beige but I went with my favorite on this rig. Looking forward to testing out the Seadek for sure. Thanks as always brother. MSRP is going to be mid 50’s on these.
I bought a new X19 Pro in 2018. The only problem I've had was running out of gas and taking off once with my trolling motor down. Self inflected wounds. The seadec makes carpet obsolete. Do not know why people still get carpet.
I'm happy for you sir! I agree, 100% with you about carpet! My last boat had vinyl, pros and cons to it. This boat, I'm putting a seadeck knockoff in it.
Do you have any issues with water getting in the compartments like I've been reading about? After a rain/wash, I'm seeing a lot of complaints about water getting into the compartments and due to them being carpet lined, they don't dry all that well. Also, can they put the seadeck on the cockpit flooring - been reading that gets really slippery when wet.
I don’t at all. My boxes aren’t carpet lines. They have introduced a new lid design in the last few years that has taken care of a lot of leaking issues. I’ve owned a lot of different bass boats and boxes leaking is a common problem. I have a video on here demonstrating Seadek when it gets wet. It actually gets more traction when wet.
I've seen glass boats come apart in rough water and sink. The top of the boat can separate and and fracture. If the boat is welded correctly then should there should be no issues. I'm sure aluminum boats can crack but mine hasn't and been on rough water many times.
Yeah man, aluminum boats is where its at. John cox has proven that time and time again. If the big bass boat companies are smart, they will all start making 21ft 250hp aluminum boats that their pros can use. They are cheaper, they are more durable, they dont crack when hitting a rock etc. They are lighter, sit higher in the water, they have a lot more storage room in them cuz theres not a bunch of fiberglass grid pumped full of foam down in the hull. It’s just the way to go. You seen the new crestliner they built for john cox this year? Dope. Deck is massive, has room for 8 batteries by motor....its nice. And the vexus aluminum boats.....you cant even tell they are aluminum at first. They have a hull shape like the glass boats that get up on pad in no time.
I just bought one .....where are they cheaper ? My fully loaded 21 x pro LE , 250 SHO, (2 bird 10", 8' raptors, appearance package, heavy trailer package, performance pkg, was 76,800 with no tax.
My only complaint with this one and most bass boats is no center rod storage. I’ve been to Erie in several different bass boats. Erie is the ocean on most days and NO bass boat is made for Erie. Or any of the other Great Lakes. I’ve been in events where people have sank various different models up there. It’s a nasty place
Great boat you will like it been fishing out of one for few years goes shallow have had it up in creeks where only kayaks can fish. It will get you over the shallow spots to the secret honey holes
Had to wear a rainsuit EVERY single time I was in a glads boat on big water too.... has way more to do with the fact that it’s you know BIG WATER than the boat 🤣🤣
As someone who’s been in every single bass boat manufacturing plant in the country..... all bass boats have foam..... ALL of them. It’s actually required by the USCG. Sorry to be the one to break it to you. Have a good one.
@@LukeDunkinsTravelingCircus your Wrong my gator trax strike series has No foam! And you haven't been in every boat plant in America. How can you compare a 125 gauge foam filled sheet metal braced boat to a 190 gauge extruded aluminium filled boat? And uscg does not require foam.
From Gator trax website 😂😂 The huntdeck came about as a place to put the rear portion of the total boat’s flotation foam. Our foam goes under the original front deck, under the floor, and inside the hunt deck for full level flotation, which is required by the USCG for a recreational rating. Without the hunt deck, the rear portion of the foam would have to be just inside the transom in two port and starboard boxes. Thus losing valuable space. In addition to the flotation

🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
😳😳😳😳. Did you get a dual console?
HELL No. 🤣
@@LukeDunkinsTravelingCircus 😂😂😂
It ain't no Gator Trax Strike Series
Yea but these cost about half the price. Gator Trax is selling aluminum boats for the price of a nice fiberglass one. lol no thanks
@@EpIc_NaChO you gonna pay to play with the top of the line
@@terryogletree2128 I understand I'm just saying I'd rather get a fiberglass for the price of a gator trax. They do make a nice boat though im not denying that.
I literally don’t even know what that is 🤷🏻♂️🤣
@@LukeDunkinsTravelingCircus cal Kent Saxon at Gator Trax and he will explain the difference about top of the line materials and a custom built boat of your dreams and the run of the mill cookie cutter boats
The boat i dream of owning
Mine too!
Love the deck I hate carpet to
I'm right there with you!
Luke look closely and do you see the doe that moves in the background
That boat is a lot bigger than my XP 180_____
great boat for tournament fishing. awful boat for the average joe. That boat will be swallowed alive on Erie, every bass boat get swallowed alive on erie though. Except for a ranger 522D but those arnt made anymore. An average joe needs a aluminum Deep v with a 9.9 kicker or a 18ft aluminum with a 150 if they dont plan to fish Erie, st clair, lake of the woods etc. I do wish i had sea dek on my ranger 1880 though.
I’ve been to Erie in several different bass boats. Erie is the ocean on most days and NO bass boat is made for Erie. Or any of the other Great Lakes. I’ve been in events where people have sank various different models up there. It’s a nasty place
Gregorio Circle
Is this an ad?
No. It’s a video on my UA-cam channel you watched about my switch to Xpress from being in another boat for ten years, “B”. Thanks for stopping by.
Great boat you will like it been fishing out of one for few years goes shallow have had it up in creeks where only kayaks can fish. It will get you over the shallow spots to the secret honey holes
That's what I'm talking about!
Glass boats for bass boats.......aluminum is best used for beer cans
Lol
Like #500!!
💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼 thank you
1500lb hull you'll be lucky to see 70s
I’ve driven it in the 70’s....
@@LukeDunkinsTravelingCircus 71
Flash the sho an then you'll be cooking
Problem is that is priced like a fiberglass boat. :(
Not even close to the same price as a 21 ft glass boat.
Wait I was excited until you said you got to order your boat soo you still don't have your boat .
Hahaha this was filmed this past fall. Pick the boat up on Tuesday
@@LukeDunkinsTravelingCircus thats what Im talking about .. Please say its green and black so the Googan fan boys can have something to woof about 😂😂
CARPET IS A LOT EASIER TO KEEP CLEAN THAN SEADECK. AND THAT'S THE GOD'S HONEST TRUTH. SEADECK DOES LOOK A LOT COOLER THOUGH. 😉
Bruh is that DUCKETT rod?😅
He wishes 🤣. That’s the new Abu Garcia Veritas
@@LukeDunkinsTravelingCircus sheesh I thought I was gonna have to unsub lol 😆

. stay off the big water
.
LOL
And bring a rain suit. Lol. But to go shallow you gotta sacrifice some things. Keep RIPNLIPZ
Had to wear a rainsuit EVERY single time I was in a glads boat on big water too.... has way more to do with the fact that it’s you know BIG WATER than the boat 🤣🤣
sent them an email, can't get them in canada
I’ll see what I can find out for you Steven!
@Ab Gr are you bored in life or just lonely in #momsbasement? Chill man.
I will stick with my kayak let's me get into places your boat will never be able to get into..
Bet I beat you there though.
Only fools run 70 mph in such boats.
If anybody recognizes a fool it would be you, Doodlebug
@@LukeDunkinsTravelingCircus Thank you for the affirmation.
Foam filled junk!
From Gator trax website 😂😂
The huntdeck came about as a place to put the rear portion of the total boat’s flotation foam.
@@cbrewis strike series not a huntdeck boat...duh your about as knowledgeable as your comment.
@@cbrewis Gator Trax gives you the option not to have foam . Gator Trax is the most unique boat out there because you can design every square inch inside the boat to your specific wants
