Pulwama: Jehlum Embankment Damaged by Sand Mafia

The sand mafia damaged the Jehlum embankment at Khankahbagh area of Pampore in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district, exposing a large portion of the population to potential flooding. Alerted by the movement of heavy machinery, locals intervened, identifying the perpetrators and seizing three vehicles.
