I bought that grill after watching your videos. Ive used it now close to a hundred hours. Ive grilled chicken, pork, beef on it. Ive also “flash-smoked” some meats on it. Works super well.
I notice that you tend to use an Opinel knife, please can I recommend the Original Buckelsmesser? It's the knife I use most commonly at home, it has a sharp blade, a rounded, spreading end and can be used as a table knife too. I don't know if it's available in the US and it doesn't fold, but it's very adaptable, functional and not terribly expensive.
Those are very nice knives! It seems they are not yet available in the US market, but we will keep checking. Thank you so much for your recommendation!
What a lovely video showing us the potential of a cooking setup like this. I really like it! How hot does the grill set get on the bottom? Does the table top get hot? plus the case that acts as a sink is just amazing.
Glad you like it! This fire pit is designed for tabletop use, the bottom stays cool even when there's a fire inside, and it even has a plastic pad at the bottom to protect the table surface
Thank you! It might be difficult for us to sell that as a kit but that’s a great idea! We have listed all the products in the description under the video so you are able to build your own!
Phenomenal! Very inspiring. One observation. Most of the food you are cooking is fresh and looks perishable (also delicious!) So I assume you use a cooler and ice packs? I would be interested in seeing your perishable food transport and storage. I travel in a small plane, and sometimes end up camping. So the compact size and light weight of your cooking setups is perfect for me. I will probably use more non perishable food because I don’t have scheduled and predictable meals often. Your canned spam will be perfect, I can use dry noodles, and I’ll be thinking about other canned foods
“Yes, we use a small cooler to transport raw food, and have a portable refrigerator for longer camping trips. We are glad that you found this setup useful. We like dishes that are easy to cook and often cook dry food as well. Thank you for watching!
Where did you get the mini tongs and do you find them too flexable? I've tried a few different kinds with no luck. I might just go with the small Snowpeak tongs.
That little tong was from daiso, it got the job done. we just lost the snow peak one, otherwise would use it for the video, it’s a great product amzn.to/4bB1f0Q
Wait a tick, did you use Pine for your Hibachi? Please refrain from that as pine resin builds up on your food. Or use a cook surface between flame and food. I really like your set up. Keep the videos coming.
Thanks for watching! It took a full day to film, several days to practice, and several weeks prior to that to come up with the ideas and ensure they work practically. There is a lot of effort put into each video. We appreciate your continued support for our channel!
Nice update! Are you interested in reviewing our 6-in-1 drinking water tester? It can test bacteria, virus, microplastic, heavy metal, and weed kiiler., etc! We're sure that you'll love it.
Hello. Thank you for the amazing video. I’m interested in your tea cup. But cannot find the link in your description. Could you please let me know the brand?
@@rhondayoumans9845 not in the woods, when a fire ban is in effect you can only use stoves or fire pits that use propane or Isobutane, needs to have a regulator and a shut off valve. Where I live in the mountains you can’t ever have an outdoor wood fire pit in your backyard regardless and I happen to agree since I’ve been evacuated before and people have lost their lives. You start a wildfire and you can go to prison.
You are right. We were at SPW Oregon last year, and due to the fire ban, only propane stoves were allowed. We appreciate @christimorgret7818 mentioning this in the comments and have added this warning to the video description.
Thanks for watching! We listed all the products in the video in the description, if you were asking about the fire pit, it’s here: amzn.to/3V15Xyr currently 10% off with $30 coupons
The 1st one is not a steamer like have a plastic cover then it's completed by boiling the entire rectangle? If to put charcoal and burn fire, it's not cement that it will somehow melt? Because if camping common sense is fish, if steam, fish is softer.
Yeah absolutely . It's because Monday doesn't grow stones on the moon so that's why you can put the garden on the shelf and use the fire to burn 9 mm cooking stars. And Alice can you return in the Wonderland.

Neat! I made something similar as a kid with a Foldger’s coffee can, lava rocks, two cans and a soda can.
Yes, we have seen people doing it with cans, very smart! Thank you for watching!

Fun to watch! Thanks...you forgot the chocolate!
That’s right! Next time, thanks for watching!
I want more of your amazing content. Would be nice to see info on camping gear that isn’t connected to cooking too: sleeping bags, etc.
Thank you for the feedback! It is camping season, and we will definitely cover some larger camping gear in future videos. Thank you for your support!

Now that you’ve had the stove for awhile, how’s the reliability? Are you finding the base to be able to take the heat well after multiple burns?
Thanks for watching! The bottom stated cool after a long time burning inside, and it even has a plastic pad at the bottom to protect the table surface
Yes to the s’mores!
Very nicely done but my question is why are you doing this on the ground, I think this would be very uncomfortable
Thanks for watching! We have camping chairs behind the scenes. The top of the grill is at table height, so it’s actually not bad

Oh, good call! We usually just use charcoal, but was using some wood to start the flame for this video. didn’t realize this, thanks for the reminder!

another amazing setup! what were the tongs that you poked the marshmallows into?
Thank for watching again! That was just a mini tongs that we got from daiso (a Japanese dollar shop)
Anyone planning to use this in the Western United States needs to check open fire restrictions, just saying
Good reminder! Thanks for watching!
Agree, that’s why I like my Firebox, I got the canister insert and when the fire bans start I switch to propane plus it takes less space to transport.
@@carmenmartinez2882I would think if you can use an outdoor grill this would be the same.
