A generally low carb diet is such a major improvement, it doesn't seem sensible to stress over the small amount of carbs in green vegetables, when you used to eat pizza's the size of small tables.
Rather than announcing that you are going to morph into a paleo cave person overnight, surely it's more sensible to steadily ease carbs down when you can, along with some gentle fasting, then you can get used to the blood pressure drop (biggest killer in the developed world?) and the general beneficial feeling of it. Lose weight steadily over 6-12 months, enjoy your journey and your success, after all it's something you want to continue, bearing in mind how many normal diets don't work.

It is much easier to accept the information from a presenter, ( yourself) whom is FIT .. your videos are well Lit, you speak incredibly clear, and you explain in such detail what your topics cover. I have followed this information and since watching my first video, 1 July I have lost 9 pounds.
I am impressed beyond words. This is the material that should be taught in school with parents and students.
I have eaten my own body weight in Sweets. Perhaps double this or triple in 64 years .
I never , knew not even 1/4 of what I have learned here. I had a knee injury many years ago by bumping my knee into a trailer hitch. That pain haunted me . Now I find the pain has stopped completely. I am down almost a full pant size.
So well done here. I have replaced many TV shows and Movies with your videos..

I had triple bypass last year, and since then I lost 25 pounds, lowered blood pressure, eliminated symptoms of sleep apnea, sleep great now, have a super healthy diet, dropped the meds after 30 days after the surgery, exercise vigorously (muscle and cardio) every day, and I’m at my best mentally, emotionally, psychologically, and spiritually. Thank you for helping to make all this happen. My own doctors never suggested any of these regimens that have made me healthy. Instead, they wanted me to stay on meds. How is it that the vast majority of medical doctors are so adverse to this healthy approach, and how is it they are so stubborn and refuse to acknowledge the truths you teach?

This is me!!! I am diabetic and nuts and beans raise my blood sugar! I cut all nuts & beans out of my diet. My blood glucose is much more stable. Today I went for my morning walk and I stayed out too long. My vision started getting wiggles on my peripheral vision. I knew my blood sugar was way too low. I got home and checked my blood glucose and it was at 100 😬 I instantly ate a food I normally can’t eat because my blood sugar goes to high and ate it with celery to balance out the sugars. 20 minutes later I was much better. Had I not been home I would have taken my glucose tablets I carry with me in case this happens where I don’t have access to food. It’s so important to track YOUR blood sugar and YOUR symptoms and know how all foods affect YOUR blood sugar. Remember blood sugar and food symptoms is a bell curve. Foods don’t always affect everyone the same!!!! You need to learn how foods affect YOU!!! Keep a food and blood sugar diary so you have concrete data about your interactions with foods. You are worthy of being your best and being healthy. But no one can do it for you! Live your life like you are the most important person in your life. Your family and friends will thank you for it ❤they love you and want what’s best for you 🤗

During the last 13 months I’ve put on 22 lbs, and I some point I realised how bad I was feeling. The red flag was one day when I really needed to have something sweet, like in despair, and I found myself eating teaspoons of sugar! Then I looked for help and found these awesome videos. Thank you so much for your generosity, doc. Three days ago I started changing my diet, and yet sometimes I dream of some dessert, but if I think of actually eating it it doesn’t seem attractive already. It’s the pleasure I was missing, not the meal. So to obtain pleasure again I removed the spider webs off the treadmill. It’s a matter of breaking the vicious circle, you don’t exercise because you feel tired and heavy, and that feeling won’t go away until you exercise and eat better. In many of your videos I’ve heard about the messages you send to your brain. In addition, I think that following this good advice on a healthy diet and exercising you send your brain and your whole body that you want to LIVE. Because, how many times have we heard about people who develop a serious disease out of depression or stress?
