Just did mine today. I didn't have to take the fan wiring harness off the fan surround. I just undone the connectors that were mounted on the header panel ! Great video, wasn't hard to replace the radiator at all! 👍👍

Doorman Bypass assortment coolant end caps part # 02253. Radiator did not come with a end cap for the top bleed port. I used a 3/8 end cap with hose clamp part # KE-6SS.

Freon isn't poisonous. It displaces oxygen, so you need to be in a well ventilated area (like outside or keep the bay door open) if it leaks... but it's not a poison.

The important thing it to let the car cool for some hours to reduce air pressure from causing severe injury when the coolant reservoir’s cap is loosened. My advice is to use a siphoning pump for your own safety

No, don't do that Muni, the labor cost is the biggest part of the job. You can get a good quality aftermarket radiator for a good price and just to the job yourself and save a TON of cash.

You don't have to take off all those connectors from the fan, just the top plug from the main harness and the rest stays on the fan

Why the complicated refilling and burping at the end with the big funnel and funnel plug? Why not just add coolant to the water tank, let it circulate, check the final level, repeat as necessary?

Anyone know what the lower piping in front of the condenser is called? You see it at 16:06 looping left and right in front of it. I hit something on the highway that flex my bumper cover on my 2005 Focus so much it broke both L shape brackets holding it in place. I want to try to try find those brackets as the body shop want to charge me to replace that tubing. I already had it check out and nothing leaking or damage on the radiator or condenser so tubing's fine. Any help is appreciated.

TGS, those small lines at the very front of the AC condenser are the power steering cooling lines.

I have a 2001 and replaced the radiator. Before replacing, the car would overheat, but the fans worked fine and the ac engaged. After replacing, the car temp gauge never goes passed the middle, but now the fans dont kick on and the ac doesnt engage. I'm thinking i must have not connected something back so I tried to count the number of connectors in the video that were disconnect and i counted 5. Is there only 5? The 5 that i saw, i checked in my car and everything is secure and plugged in tightly. Any help would be greatly appreciated...

Do not do this Coolant is dangerous at hot temperatures and he did not advise you that you can burn your damn face off, use a siphoning pump to pump coolant from the coolant reservoir. Safe bet.
