I’m working on this now. For my daughters half sister. I made a little hat and it was the only handmade thing she received and she loved it. She lost her grandmother a year ago who used to knit and crochet and would have made all kinds of things for the baby. So I decided it was time to try something other than hats. I’m working the sleeves now and I’m using a soft bamboo yarn in shades of olive, beige and yellow. Those are his nursery colors. Should be done over the weekend. Thank you for the tutorial.
I appreciate seeing you work the shoulders and the fringe at the cuffs and bottom. I didn't know how to do that. Like most every thing else in my life, I've taught myself either by reading a crochet book or watching others. Thank you
Tiffany : Have watched many tutorials on baby sweaters, have glanced your channel before and didn’t pay any real attention. Well I’m so happy I finally watched a video right through, I love your video tutorials and love your patterns. You’re a great instructor and have lovely patterns on your site,,,yes I subscribed. I just started crocheting after thirty years, self taught. Am having a great time. Congratulations on becoming a Grandma 👵! xoxo
I did a combination of them both with a collar and the ribbing and wooden toggle buttons in a sapphire blue, for my first piece of clothing crocheted! Thank you for your easy, step by step tutorial!!
i had a multi color yarn from Hobby lobby I love this yarn. Some one had given it to me so I made it instead of changing the different colors.. I am making it for my son sister in law.
I' ve used sliced branches for large buttons and I want to try smaller branches to make a similar long button like that last one you showed. Thanks for an awesome pattern as well as inspiration for fun colour stripes. I’m inspired and almost finished this one.
Been watching these videos (Daisy ) for just a month or so.. what a professional site!! Best ever! I can’t see myself watching any other Non-daisy videos:)
Thank you so much for this wonderful sweater pattern and very helpful video. I am very new to crochet and your videos are what inspired me to get started as you make it look so easy. And I am pleased to report that with your clear instruction, it feels as easy as you make it look. I have a question please: when changing colours, should I cut the previous colour yarn leaving a tail to work into the sweater at the end?
Hi there, I made this cardigan one with the hood one without. Both came out beautiful you are very talented. I showed the one without the hood to my dad and he said he must have one. I was wondering if there is a way I can make this same style cardigan for adult size men's large. I've tried looking for some help regarding stitch counts, but am coming up unsuccessful. Thank you very much
Hi! Thanks for really nice and intuitive tutorials! :D I have a question about yarn because I find it difficult to know what material is the best to use. Is it best to use acrylic or wool for things you "use" as in blankets or sweaters? See some too differently and wool should be "nicer" right? Thanks again!
Thank you so much for such a nice baby sweater! I was so confused as to what stitch to start the corners in 11, 19? I had to slow down the video to watch it closely. After frogging a few times I finally got it… whew. Happy hooking! 🧶👏🏼
I love your patterns, your style and guidance. May I ask, since the first row it’s comprised of half double crochets, I would like to start with a foundation chain. Is it correct to start with 56 half double crochets foundation row?
i followed your pattern for crochet of four colour baby sweater, and it is so easy to follow and my work is coming out fine and beautiful. Thank you for sharing such an easy tutorial 😄 (question) i wanted to ask , for the ribbing of the outside of sweater and hood , did u do single crochet all over then double crochet and then continuing 3 to 4 rows of FPDC and BPDC ? or did u start with the double crochet and then worked on the FPDC and the BPDC ?
Hi, love your cardigan, so beautiful. Want to make for my awaited for granddaughter, size 6 month. However, the yarn I have is finer....hook 3. Any tips? After almost 40 years I'm getting back to crochet. Thanx and greetings from Algeria, North Africa.
hi everyone has anybody make one of these jumpers for a child 3 to 4 year old and how many chains and hook size did you use. would love same help. thank you from australia
For an older child you could use measurements instead of stitch counts. Measure across shoulders, neck, length of arms etc. if it’s made in panels to get size of front panels take back panel measurement deduct 5 then divide residual by two.
Edit...do you have any favorite crochet patterns for shawls? I’m hoping to make a shawl (maybe single crochet w/ a slight lace look around the outer edge?) for one of my daughters and really love your other patterns. Hoping you can point me in the right direction. Thx much I’ve been crocheting for quite a while, but until now had never come across such great videos. Your method of teaching is wonderful ... very easily understood. I’ve finally mastered the sleeves on little sweaters, after crocheting oh so many 😊 Thx much Lynda
Everything I have learned from your video here, I have been able to apply to so many other things. Thank you for clear and concise videos. I have made 3 of these so far!
When making the corners in round 2, do I single crochet, chain 2 and single crochet again all in the same stitch or single crochet chain 2 and then single in the next stitch because it’s different in the written pattern and in the video, which one is correct?
I made this for my 9 months old granddaughter in New Zealand. I slightly adapted but kept the basic pattern. I struggled with some parts of it but thinki I got the hang of it 🤗
Hola buenas tardes muy hermoso por favor si fuera posible colocar lo que dice en español como otros canales colocan las letras e. Español gracias felicitaciones Dios la bendiga
