Layne looks like a badass with that bleach blonde hair, white tee sleeves rolled up and the dark shades. Such a badass.
I know I love that look!
Layne 💗💗
The movie soundtrack CD for this is awesome , AIC, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Heart, Chris Cornell, Mudhoney, all doing songs off the beaten path .

As soon as I watched this clip my first thought was "I guarantee you Cobain was offered this and turned it down". Low and behold thats what happened.
The Seattle scene was divided between the Subpop guys (Nirvana, TAD, Mudhoney) and the Seattle bands like Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, AIC...etc.
@@AliceFanReviews No albums on Sub Pop. couple EPs early on.
@@83442handle actually they did and there was no divide.. you must’ve not been there..

Exactly, Nirvana was not very close to the other bands because Kurt and Krist came from Aberdeen, not Seattle so they had their own group of friends.
Extremely happy with the footage. Thanks alot
The soundtrack is massive!
Thank you !
i turned 20 that year and i remember the way this film was advertised was very different from the film itself. i mean they literally sort of advertised this film like it was the grunge film. but the film itself was more like "Friends" or something, it is really about a small group of people that all live in a small "Melrose Place" style apartment building and they are loosely friends with each others as neighbors. but they are all different sorts of people with different interests and one of them just happens to be in a band. but outside of that NO the music does not really play much of a part of the film, i would argue the main characters of the film are Campbell Scott and Kyra Sedgwick's characters who meet and date and have a few breaks up because thigs keep going wrong but they keep coming back to each other until it works out and honestly they always make me think of the sitcom "Mad About You". the other main character would be Bridget Fonda's character who thinks she is on love with "Matt Dillon's character who is the guy in the band, but it is MUCH more about her than it is about him. and don't get me wrong i like the movie, it has actually grown a lot on me over the years AND i was never a fan of the grunge 90s altrock scenes. but i am just saying the way it was marketed as The Grunge Film was very misleading and i have had a few friends through the years that hated it because it was not what they were expecting it to be.
I love you music is best

Great soundtrack for a semi crappy movie
It's hilarious how Mark Lanegan described the movie in his memoir Sing Backwards and Weep..."like an episode of General Hospital." The music was perfection though. 🖤
I had the original soundtrack cassette... yes. cassette.📼🧓👴
