Can we talk about at 1:22, Shaunti tells the camera man "I'm so happy you're here" with a big smile and he responds "I was running". This that band family connection.
We are so happy he was there and I love the footage he got while running, a million thanks to the cameraman for giving us this wonderful show, this should be a movie.
I'm cringing that people keep walking through or standing in the way of the line. So disrespectful. They have a formation to keep up and these folks just bombarding and disrupting it. Who care if you were once of importance. Don't use that as an excuse to do what you please.

2021 Sounds of Dynamites and The GGs will be back with an attitude. The first new comers to the SWAC they will face off with is the BCU Wildcats, Daytona, Beach Florida, be there believe it will be fun.
Even with Zee and em, outstanding the whole SWAC,(ATL DANCE AFFAIR), and Kevia and the girls obliterating any and everbody, (they actually did), Suunti and em did this, and its still the GOAT!

@@Powerpuff772 JSU blocked the ramp so Alcord couldn't perform their normal kick butt entrance, so the dancers coach told the captain we gone do it, at halftime the GGs got on the ramp and the rest is history, however the band didn't get to do their thing. If you check the 2017 entrance you know it was going to be the show of the year.

Actually three on one song, first Tanesha (first row to right of captain) 25:03: then Kennedy (last row, right of captain, she held it and kept dancing, and before she could get hers back on the captain @ 26:22. Them bad uniforms was not going to stop them they came to battle, you can't help but love them.
The first one was Darlyneshia (16:56 first row left of the captain) she had to leave and get help and came back in on a count where she had to throw her chest out with her arms spreaded out wide. No one would have blamed her if she would have short armed it but she threw it all out as if she had no fear, even I was afraid for her knowing something might pop out, wow Much respect for the CGs, they came to battle.
Them GGs was so focused you could have cut their head off, and they would have picked it up put it back on and kept on dancing, then them (We ain't taking yo mess Flag Girls would take you out). I love how this team stick together.
All schools need to do away with that halter top.. that style always comes undone on someone while they're dancing... I'd be scared to move! 42:33 LOVE that the flag girls are cheering her on... sisterly support, YES!!! I see a future captain in Tanisha.

Did anyone notice how hard Shaunti tossed her hair on that first song. Them poor curls were drone after the first two slings. The ones in the back were gone and the sides were holding on for dear life. They needed resuscitation that was not coming. They didn't make it to halftime. She didn't hold nothing back. I want to thank the lord for stumbling onto this video during the quarantine. I love it! Way to go on that ramp entrance! Gave them the biggest John Hancock I've ever seen, Jsettes Who? For those wondering, I'm in Los Angeles, CA and well we're still in quarantine because people don't listen around here. So I'm enjoying a little trip to Alcorn State. I was a Sousaphone/Tuba player in High School and I wish I would have continued my studies onto a University. If I had known about these HBCU Bands I would have gone to Alcorn State. This band is AMAZING as well as the Golden Girls!

Why all the criticism? Where’s it coming from jealousy? If you can’t comment something good and great like they are, than don’t comment at all. Opinions are like assholes everybody’s got one!!!!!!
I have found, (in my one month of being a fan), 90% of the criticism comes from fans of other dance teams, with most of the rest coming from self proclaimed experts. This teams coach says no one sets rules for them and they are exactly what you see and makes no apologies. I love the coach, I love the team, I love their style.
Just a few ignorant Jsettles, most have more class than this.
Musical talent, dancing talent, marching talent, pride in self, pride in organization, education and much beauty... In this day and troubled times, this soothes my soul... (Oh, yeah, they happen to look different than me...) Keep on keeping on!

My Teacher went to Alcorn State! She Graduated. She is VERY VERY intelligent.She is amazing and she showed us how much she loved her college. Yeah she pushed us to do A LOT but it really helped in the end. They killed this and they deserve more respect. People shouldn’t cut through their formations. That’s highly disrespectful. Either way, i hope everyone gets the respect they deserve in the end💕

I am sooo impressed! Just a white boy from up north (Chicago) and I can't take the smile off my face! The band is great and the drum majors are killin it (I was one in high school) but the Golden Girls are out of sight!!! I cannot imagine how much work goes into a performance like this. First of all, I think it is all but impossible to choreograph their body movements. Everything is so precise and beautiful! I can watch this for hours. Please bring more of these videos to all of the fans out here!!!

JSU didn’t let the golden Girls do the ramp. It’s something the j-setts and golden girls do so the might have just wanted the j-setts to do it.

Percy Wilson well JSU blocked the ramp when asu was coming into the stadium so it would appear that they didn’t want to do go that way right??? And Did I ever say the j-setts did I???
They had security guards, a temporary fense and a few others guarding the ramp. Since 2007 The entire world knows what happens if CGs get on a ramp, I think that's when they became known as the World famous CGs.
THANK YOU 2019-2020 GOLDERN GIRLS. Took a week and watched other dance teams and came to this conclusion, the GGs are the sh$t

We frowned on JSU attempt at keeping Acorn out of the stadium, but in retrospect it was the only plan that had a change to work against those hair slanging, body snatching dancing GGs and the funk of the SOD 😂🤣😅😁
