I have been trying to bring my average under $10 for the past several years. Even though i wasn't able to achieve it, I got it down to $11.56 with a little over 2000 shares. I can sit happy while it runs and wait to see if it comes back down.
I started the day with 26000 shares and I ended the day with 10000. Always sell into strength. I'll just buy them back when it pulls back.
264 shares at an average of $9.30 and I buy $100 worth every Friday

my entire roth IRA is pltr. My sisters too( i manage her account) and i made a minors account for my 4 year old nice which is also 100% PLTR. our average is $9.
i HATE when the price goes up because i know this is a hidden gem and i much more rather accumulate shares at a cheap price. When it has these run ups i get FOMO like feeling i have not gotten enough shares. i think that highlights how long term bullish i am.

Thanks for another great video on Palantir. I have 1 portfolio which is my long term hold for Palantir and another portfolio where I am day trading it. Its about 60% of my portfolio
If investors are panicking on a simple 100% plus profits they will never reach 1200% profits 😂

Let them buy, let them sell. As long as the business is running on all cylinders I'm holding. I will not sell but I am adding more by DCAing into it on the weekly. By the way I'm up around 50% at the time of writing.

What do you think Palantir will be worth in Dec, 2024? I estimate 30. I definitely think it’ll hit 30 by that time because of what it was valued at before interest rates started rising. I’m afraid I’m always wayyy too optimistic but the trend is on our side at this point. I first heard of Palantir from an IBD article and originally bought when it IPO’d.

If you think the current price is too high and that it will pop then why not sell and wait for it to come down again to buy. I know you can't time the maket but isn't it almost a guarantee

it's crazy how there are so many excitement comments only when the stock goes up .
I was the only one that was buying pltr at $6.20. There was absolutely no positive comments then. The Stock market exists because of human nature.

I have 3,000 shares and wanting to see it hit over $15 today.
unfortunately, i had to liquidate at 9.00, 17.00 basis (pay off our SUV) . i'm holding so many bags from 2021.
I like palantir. But the price action- it looks so clearly like a short squeeze with a massive gap at the bottom.
Personally I’ve not sold any yet. I’ve just been selling covered calls and making money off of that. If I end up getting exercised on any that’s fine because it’s not near my whole position and I can buy back in eventually.
Hate to disagree with you Tom, but you weren't the first UA-camr to support PLTR. I don't know what happen to him, but he is no longer making video, I believe his last name was Perez, skinny dude from Brooklyn. He was talking about PLTR since it went public.

I bought about 1000 palantir stocks when they were above 16$. I am still holding but I suffered like hell in the past few months.

7k with 16$ to break even. I was down over 50-60k couple times just in pltr and it was incredibly frustating. Need more discipline for long term investment than i thought :D

Tom based on this good overview, what was your motivation (metric) for buying PLTR stock (higher) two years ago? There has to be another ingredient you're looking at. I bought PLTR leaps so I'm here with you, yet this aspect hangs in the back of my mind on all recent videos you've made.
I start buying when I see long term greatness and don’t stop regardless of price swings. Unless my thesis changed about the company I keep buying at a steady pace all year long.

Tom Tom... you silly guy... people don't care about big words like "valuations" when the hype train horn is blowing! JKJK Great analysis. Tesla defied a lot of odds because of the hype train so it should never be discounted to keep a stock high but, I agree. Counting on hype or current trajectory of ANY investment is high risk.

Nah ( I think you are way wrong), it is a technical play. Lots of TA adherents, some have watched this for a while. A big money chat room I know of was on this, puts it out to the big money followers (private jet class) and then everyone jumps in. It has triggered a WON (RIP) 8 week hold rule, so that whole class of chart monkeys are in it. And, when looking at the volume, this is not the clueless class, these are HUGE footprints.
Sooooo....our not-so genius friend "Chicken Genius" trying to capture the recent price spike by trading his ENTIRE position OUT of PLTR at $10.00 doesn't look terribly genius. Aside from leaving fair money on the table, he now must wonder if PLTR will EVER see his target buy-back-in price of $8.50. I'm picking on Chicken Genius (and let's be clear: I genuinely like the guy, his channel, and his content) because he perfectly illustrates the risks and dangers of trying to "trade" a stock as opposed to buying a quality stock and holding.
Bro I just searched up palantir because I saw their "Palantir AIP | Defense and Military" video, and they are making a f*cking SKYNET. Like from Terminator. So I searched up palantir and I learn there's an entire community INVESTING in a DEATHMACHINE. In none of these investing videos have I heard anyone talk about what the company is actually doing.
I had an average cost per share of $10.15, sold out at $12.75 trying to take a bit of profit. I’m not a trader, I’m a long term investor. I feel like I really screwed up selling and now I’m trying to wait to buy back in. Have I missed the boat?!
Anything goes up quickly will fall . Sell folks no matter how you like the company , stock price has nothing to do with it . Sell now and buy back again at 10 . This will come down eventually

Palantir is far from being fair valued at 14/15 , the stock can do whatever it wants in the short term but the more probable scenario is that this ai craze will soon end and palantir will be back to the 10 dollar range where it belongs atm
