One of my favorite moments is still from your video "How Good Are The Ogres?" where your opponent's Ogre Brute misses your Sunwalker and hits your Piloted Shredder and spawns a Doomsayer, wiping your whole board and taking lethal away from you.
It's all about skill : if you manage to survive long enough and control the board with Geddon and flamestrikes, Ragnaros become insanely OP in late game.
Slowest Bro when i started the game as priest i reached rank 13 14 by playing double ooze , velen chosen and double ogre brute and double mind control it's fun
By the way Kripp. Man you were so wrong about Golemagg. That card is sick. It has swung the entire flow of the Ragnaros vs Nefarian games. Almost every game I have won is most likely thanks to either Coren Direbrew or Golemagg.
I got to admid, i'm playing the oger in many of my decks. Though i don't consider myself a too good player (hovering at rank 16-15 on EU server with a very limeted cardpool). But this card has it's very special advantages. Though he might not always do, what you want him to, the oponent may never feel save. Much more than the rare occasions, where the RNG is at my side, i like to see, how my oponents value the oger. I've seen reactions beyond good and evil, ranging from completly ignoring him, which proved fatal, up to a coined out fireball. Considering the experiences i've made so far, i'd say that about 80-90% of the time i did not regret playing the oger, be it as late as turn 10+ or even as early as turn 1 (as a druid). Mad-Murdoc
Since I feel like it, here's the math behind the ogre brute: The first attack it made was against a teacher, it missed and hit face when the opponent had 1 other minion on board. That is a 1/2 x 1/2 which is a 1/4 chance or 25% chance of that happening. The next turn the ogre attacked the slime and hit face, and since the opponent had 2 other minions besides the slime that is a 1/2 x 1/3 which equals a 1/6 chance or a rough 17% chance of that happening. The next turn the exact same outcome happened as in the previous turn so that is another 1/6 or rough 17% chance of happening. You multiply the 1/4 x 1/6 x 1/6 together and that equals a 1/144 chance or a rough 0.69& chance of that happening. So basically, that ogre brute REALLY wanted Kripp to see what 12 to the negative second power looked like in hearthstone.
There should be a card pool of creatures, weapons and buffs that increases the dmg from random effects. So for example Mad bomber doesn't do 1 dmg 3 times but 2 dmg 3 times or randomly throws 3 dmg. Just some modifiers that make random effects even more fun.
Can't wait to see his Tavern Brawl matches. I just played some and they are awesome! This week's is Ragnaros VS. Nefarian. The cards are crazy and so is what each player gets.
I think the best card in the game is the one that is used in the most decks in the current meta, so it could potentially change depending on what is currently popular in the meta. In my opinion, it seems to be Dr Boom at the moment, as that is used is most decks.
Nefarian? He can give you 2x fireballs and win you the game ASAP. Mirror entity? Sylvanas? Azure drake? There are so many cards that are BETTER in most cases. Just because ogre brute has that miss effect, it doesen't mean that it will do much (unless in an extreme situation) .
Not really the point of the video. He's not saying that Ogre Brute is the most powerful card in the game, he's saying it's the best card FOR the game. As in, the game needs more all-around fun cards like this one. Obviously there are tons of cards more powerful than Ogre Brute.
I don't know why people make fun of Kripp and tell others to skip the Kripp. Kripp is a great guy and I have always liked his videos more than others' BECAUSE he provides insights and it makes me think! It makes me kinda sad to see other players disrespecting him like that...
I love ogre brute, played it consitently forever, if dropped at early game it usually survives a couple oops trades anyway and its tht extra point of power without positively affecting your opponent like dancing swords
For some reason, I was contemplating this topic for a while before Kripp posted this video up today...particularly I was thinking on what the best non-legendary card in Hearthstone is. It's a weird topic to think about, because the more you think on it the more your opinions seem to change, especially since there are over 400 cards that count as non-legendary cards. I started thinking of Flamewaker, because in the right situation it can just win games by itself. But now...I'm actually thinking of Inner Fire; even though silence is a thing, most decks only run one (maybe two) cards with silence in them. And with Inner Fire's super low cost of only one mana, you can get out a crazy 10 attack 10 health creature as early as turn 3. So if your opponent doesn't draw that silence, this little one mana spell can win you the game by turn 5...it's really powerful, maybe not on its own but its effect has to make it one of the strongest combo cards in the game.
Guys if you're thinking that Nefarion is OP, as rag use your weapon EVERY turn you can because getting the new hero power makes the game much easier. Additionally, getting one or more of rag's 2 cost OP minions really helps and if you survive to turn 10, Nefarion no longer has his mana advantage and rag's cards are flat out better than those of Nefarion. Simply put if you can get your new hero power quickly and survive to turn 10, it's really likely you will win because of the sheer power of rag's cards.
Kripp, I've only been playing for about 3 months, so i don't know all the plays yet, but why did you take spiteful swordsmith on mage? Was it Arena? Thanks for the vid!
I remember when I first encountered Ogre Brute in a package and thought "4/4 for 3 mana with the only downside of bypassing taunt?? Best card in the game I called it. Must include it in all the decks." It didn't really improve any deck, which got me puzzled for a month.
In all seriousness I do think Ogre Brute is quite a decent card. On turn 3 a 4/4 can put a lot of pressure on the enemy, but his flavour text makes them think 'Ah whatever, scrub lord card can be ignored.' Then for the next 5 turns the Ogre just wrecks face whilst your on the floor pissing your pants in laughter.
Appreciate video content! Excuse me for chiming in, I would love your opinion. Have you tried - Lammywalness Constantly Get Guide (do a search on google)? It is a great one off guide for learning how to increase stats in the popular hearthstone game minus the headache. Ive heard some awesome things about it and my cousin finally got amazing success with it.
So what i'm hearing is that all cards should be 3 mana 4/4. I like it, Blizard get on it. I really want to see a Dr. Boom that's a 3 mana 4/4 that spawns 2 4/4 boom bots.
When I saw Kripp yawn, he salted me with his pepperonis and I, too , yawned. I felt a connection like nothing I ever felt before, it was as if he was sitting behind my monitor telling me where to skip to.
I also think that Blizzard should just buff the very bad cards just a bit so that they don't waste time testing old cards (buffing silverback patriarch to 2/4 doesn't really require testing and it would be still pretty weak) but that and similar changes would take no time nor testing but still pushing them into the right direction so you can at least experiment with them in some fun decks. Tldr.: Buff Bad cards just a tiny bit instead of trying to make them viable.
Once i played a Druid, had 24 Life, and 4 creatures with 2 Taunts, he Mark of Nature to 8/4, and "missed" and Hit my Face. Next Turn i had 7 Creatures, 3 Taunts, and he had 2 Life left. he Mark of Natured again to 12/4, "missed" again, hit my Face again and Swiped Face after that :D Owned, i guess
I dont get why ppl get so surprised when the ogre hits something else they didn't aim to..i mean, all chars in play have same possibilites of being hit..lets imagine u have 3 minions on board..this gives 25% to each minion and 25% to the opponent to being hit..so..what's the surprise?
Ogre Brute is actually a card I use in all of my decks in constructed idk why people don't use him he's actually a good card I mean the RNG is meh sometimes but most of the time it's pretty good
not always only rank 20 my priest deck isn't terrible I mean most of the cards are basic cards and then there are some craftable cards but really mainly they're basic my deck has beaten some mech decks and that's basically what you see up until you start getting up to about rank 18 as far as I know of at least. my priest deck also manages to beat the grim patron decks before their combo can even begin.
you can make it pretty far with some decks if you can do simple combos and if you can make a minion stick then with priest you can win pretty much any match up until you start getting into rank 10 and 11
One time my Ogre hit his 7/5 stealth in Arena (I had 5 health) and then I proceed to top deck a Dread Infernal (Deal 1 damage to all minons) I then went on to comeback and win the game. Fuck yeah Ogre brute
Casual Kripp want Hearthstone to be more CASUAL. 100% RNG card in constructed. Well done Kripp, hope you enjoy this shitty Tavern Brawl that we waited for 1/4 of a year.
Also, they change the rules every week, so this means that you may find a Tavern Brawl week you love, next week we could make a deck with rules about what cards we can put in it, or maybe next week Dragon cards have an extra 3 health and Attack? Or maybe all cards cost 1 mana, but you only have 3 mana crystals. The possibilitys are ENDLESS.
Kripp notorious to complain and whine about RNG. Kripp says Ogre Brute is "cool" and "what its all about". The amount of salt if it would bypass his taunt and lose him the game would be unreal. Classic hypocritical Kripp.
Only because of fkin ogre misses 3 times in a row, i cant' do 12 wins in arena yesterday. What a funny inconsistent card! I quite sure that it isn't a best if rng is not your friend :)
One of my favorite moments is still from your video "How Good Are The Ogres?" where your opponent's Ogre Brute misses your Sunwalker and hits your Piloted Shredder and spawns a Doomsayer, wiping your whole board and taking lethal away from you.
Turnt SNACO "this is such bullshit"
Matthew Osterloh no it is not
+Turnt SNACO pls link
I love your name
No, the best card is wisp. Amazing for aggro decks as you simply have complete board control on turn 1.
Really Unskilled Wisp has infinite value.
Mark Beckmann New meta :O
Really Unskilled But it is countered by moonfire bra.
Really Unskilled No, you have complete board control on turn 0!
Really Unskilled Murlock Raidleader?
6:41 Rania turn it off (͡°͜ʖ͡°)
Mirza Ajanovic holy shit lol
Mirza Ajanovic I was in the chat when this happened and it was fucking hilarious seein the spam
Mirza Ajanovic Sorry mate she turned off her depilator
jbomber44 what was spammed?
AGAIN WHAT THE FUCK
I would buy a Kripparian backpack in a heartbeat. It's slogan could be..
"The Kripparian Backpack, Tripp like the Kripp!"
SBroproductions I know sand always ends up in backpacks, but I don't think people would be interested in buying one that is already full of salt...
Patrik Manni I want a Kripparian salt shaker :P
*{S}*Dragon You're picture matches perfectly with that comment
*{S}*Dragon That's genius! You'd never have to refill it. The salt just appears!
chessmaster914 you are (you're) picture? your picture. your socks . you are you're generous you are you're beautiful . understand?
Anyone else finding Nefarian soooooo OP in the brawl at the moment? :(
Dude i lost 4 times in a row cause i had rag he is so underwhelming compared to nefarian
cheepcheep2204 the key to play ragnaros is to 1 in 8 RNG snipe face xD
Witty Gaming Name Yup. Rag should have his 8 dmg hero power at his first turn..
It's all about skill : if you manage to survive long enough and control the board with Geddon and flamestrikes, Ragnaros become insanely OP in late game.
i won my 1st game with rage because i sniped face with 7 minions on board
Plz don't skip the Kripp today guys!
Derk Roemers for charity yeah
Derk Roemers b-but if we do so we'll face a horrible and painful death and nobody will be able to safe our lifes this time D:
TheDocZero 3:13 omg srry for being late hope i saved ur life
You're saying that running every ogre in the game in your deck is not good for constructed?
Than how did I reach 18?
Slowest Bro because rank 18 is not very impressive and you can win from pure dumb luck or the guys against you just being bad? :)
Dude... Sarcasm????
Lol ^
Hot damn, how could that have slipped my mind..its youtube damnit O_O
Slowest Bro when i started the game as priest i reached rank 13 14 by playing double ooze , velen chosen and double ogre brute and double mind control it's fun
Glad Kripp finally understood how good Ogre brute is. Took you long enough Kripp
Am I the only one who thinks that kripps head looks photoshopped on his body?
TheArezmendi probably because of the beard
What is seen, can not be unseen.
TheArezmendi I have EXACTLY the same opinion. I think he shoule get some mass. He would look even better than now
I CAN'T UNSEE IT
TheArezmendi He looks like super Mario
3:12 skip kripp... its been forever guys
Dudebug2000 You LITERALLY saved my life bro!
Dudebug2000 You literally ruined my life bro

Thanks!
I actually just made a rogue ogre deck a few days ago. Runs decent but still needs some games under it's belt to see how good it really is.
By the way Kripp. Man you were so wrong about Golemagg. That card is sick. It has swung the entire flow of the Ragnaros vs Nefarian games. Almost every game I have won is most likely thanks to either Coren Direbrew or Golemagg.
Freedfg i agree
Freedfg I lost as Nefarian after playing Onyxia. The turn after he got Thermaplugg from that guy who pumps out legendaries and then had a flamestrike
Freedfg Opponent did Mindgames from hero passive, he got Golemagg, i was so pissed
Dendarang are you? or are you at around 17 health and at least 4 armor? 20 20 is so hard to deal with.
+Dendarang Or you can just son of flame the opponent if he is a 5 health... Just saying
Best Turn 1 Play:
Innervate Innervate Sludge Belcher
2x Wisp 2x Target Dummy
Instant win or what
No? Since you can have a maximum of five cards(+a coin) at the first turn.
Miku9999 DO NOT RUIN THE DREAM!!!!
Ogre Brute is a real good card in arena imo. I really like to pick him, in particular with buff classes.
3:13 to skipperino Kripperino

I got 0.68 percent chance for that Ogre Brute face attack. Pretty nuts!
3:10 - Skipperino the kripperino to the gameplayerino.
Ogre brute can sometimes pay off if you don't have answer to certain stealth minions in arena like blood imp and naxrama early on before you have AOE
I think the best card in the game is the one that is used in the most decks in the current meta, so it could potentially change depending on what is currently popular in the meta.
In my opinion, it seems to be Dr Boom at the moment, as that is used is most decks.
Paused E3 for my daily dose of Kripp. Kreygasm
Hey man nice to see you installed Kripparrian. Nice vids, really like your content! Your sound is still a bit hollow(bounces).
I definitely agree that ogre brute is one of the most entertaining cards in hearthstone.
Nefarian? He can give you 2x fireballs and win you the game ASAP. Mirror entity? Sylvanas? Azure drake? There are so many cards that are BETTER in most cases. Just because ogre brute has that miss effect, it doesen't mean that it will do much (unless in an extreme situation) .

theStonerKid69 If you consider the card ALONE, I would say Fire elemental is on the top of the list.
Hex is also crazy good.
theStonerKid69 piloted shredder hands down
piloted shredder gets killed by hex. I rest my case.
Rory O'Kane by that logic, everything gets killed by hex, so by default all cards suck because they die to hex
thank you for not just choosing some op card as the best. this is a great description of why ogre brute can be the best. love the vids mate.
Guys if you're thinking that Nefarion is OP, as rag use your weapon EVERY turn you can because getting the new hero power makes the game much easier. I'd love a Kripparian backpack. It'd be great in the winter to carry salt around so I could salt the sidewalks and stuff.
Kripp, I've only been playing for about 3 months, so i don't know all the plays yet, but why did you take spiteful swordsmith on mage? Was it Arena? Thanks for the vid!
So if Ogre brute is good, then surely Mogor the Ogre must be steller right?
I remember when I first encountered Ogre Brute in a package and thought "4/4 for 3 mana with the only downside of bypassing taunt?? Best card in the game I called it. Must include it in all the decks." It didn't really improve any deck, which got me puzzled for a month.
Kripp backpack slogan should say "Don't skipperinno the schoolerino."

My guess would be it's a play on The Adventures of Asterix (and Obelix)
So what i'm hearing is that all cards should be 3 mana 4/4. I like it, Blizard get on it. I really want to see a Dr. Boom that's a 3 mana 4/4 that spawns 2 4/4 boom bots.
Still Dark Cultist is the best 3 drop... but I like the brute just because he is random ;)
Esportal is the best card man you cant argue with that " sometimes it just wins you the game" -Reynad 2k14
Am I the only one who keeps refreshing kripps channel waiting to see a video pop up?
When I saw Kripp yawn, he salted me with his pepperonis and I, too , yawned. I felt a connection like nothing I ever felt before, it was as if he was sitting behind my monitor telling me where to skip to.
Tinkmaster Overspark is the best card in the game ^^
Tinkmaster has a maximum of 50% chance to oblitarate any single other creature
RighteousNicky polymorph has 100% chance xD
***** all hail angry chicken once he gets mad youre dead
***** for one more mana and 3/3 stats less
6:41 was that your grills vibrator?
When i watch this video i hear non-stop subtle laught of the dr. Balanced in background:)
interesting. the most OP card in my opinion - fiery war axe. no joke.
inb4 the next brawl has a mechanic that makes every of your minions have a 50% chance to miss their original target
What Ogre brute best card in the game? Brb disenchanting Dr.Boom cant wait to try this

its a dangerous place be carful or flying elephants will eat your legs!
Wow lol this video just came out was waiting for tavern brawl on your channel.
Best card in the game? No.
Epitome for what Hearthstone should be? Sure.
This is just kripp's master plan to make constructed filled with ogres so he can reach higher ranks
damnit Kripp, I've been playing this card in constructed and nearing legend. Now everyone's going to be using it!
Boulderfist Oger should read: "100% chance to attack the right enemy"
I also think that Blizzard should just buff the very bad cards just a bit so that they don't waste time testing old cards (buffing silverback patriarch to 2/4 doesn't really require testing and it would be still pretty weak) but that and similar changes would take no time nor testing but still pushing them into the right direction so you can at least experiment with them in some fun decks. Tinkmaster Overspark is actually the best card in the game. 3 mana 3/3 that has a built in Polymorph.
Kripparrian is my Amaz in the Internet. That was folly.
I dont know - i LOVE ogre brute + shadow flame to kill a board of silly grim patron BS (when my hellfires are lacking lol)
I wish gwent was online vs players it's so frigging much better then HS and is all about skill and mind games.
My opinion at least.
I really hope they synergise the ogres into a tribe it would be so much god damn fun if ogre decks where possible Mogor the ogre is such a fun card
I use Ogre brute instead of watcher in handlock, works like a charm.
Kind of bad, its costs 1 more, has 1 less health so its a shit taunt and now its 7 mana shadow flame not 6
shuvo rahman
But it oneshots armorsmith, passes annoyo to kill warper and can actually do something on turn 3-4
Damn, I nearly forgot to put THE KRIPP in 1.25x speed. Almost lost 10 minutes of my day instead of a bit less than 10 minutes of my day.
The percentage chance of the brute missing those 3 times in a row was 0.260416667%
i won rag 2 times at the same game using tree of life!! Neferian is OP...
Is anyone else annoyed with Kripp's stach touching his lip like at just one small area?
Yes, i cant stop looking at it :(
Ciwan Mohnx Omg i also can't stop looking at it :(
I dont get why ppl get so surprised when the ogre hits something else they didn't aim to..i mean, all chars in play have same possibilites of being hit..lets imagine u have 3 minions on board..this gives 25% to each minion and 25% to the opponent to being hit..so..what's the surprise?

Dendarang arena isnt p2w also...
Oh man I just love when he does these kinds of vids where we want to believe him and we wait... than we laugh because we got trolled =D
The best card in the game is Vanish. Solely because of its flavor text.
I would totally buy that backpack depending on the price of course
Ogre Brute is actually a card I use in all of my decks in constructed idk why people don't use him he's actually a good card I mean the RNG is meh sometimes but most of the time it's pretty good
Rank 20👆🏻👆🏻👆🏻👆🏻
not always only rank 20 my priest deck isn't terrible I mean most of the cards are basic cards and then there are some craftable cards but really mainly they're basic my deck has beaten some mech decks and that's basically what you see up until you start getting up to about rank 18 as far as I know of at least. my priest deck also manages to beat the grim patron decks before their combo can even begin.
creeperwu "up to rank 18"
yeah still that's not rank 20
you can make it pretty far with some decks if you can do simple combos and if you can make a minion stick then with priest you can win pretty much any match up until you start getting into rank 10 and 11
That ogre should be in a hunter deck, since they have so much in common.
Jordan Was that "Holy SMOrc" by Kripp when the ogre hit face for the third time?
Tavern brawl is awesome and surprisingly kinda balanced
I found it boring, 1 FUCKING PACK no matter how much you play, sure its fun but i don't see my self playing over 1 match
its something new. so i'm down
Hearthstone Backpack, Mad Bomber : Let's all blow something up
*Disclaimer* Not to be used at airports or local marathons.

I wanted this to be a ten second video where Kripp just said "Dr. Boom" and turned off the camera.
the best its target dummy, 0 mana 0/2 taunt, free taunt.
Casual Kripp want Hearthstone to be more CASUAL. 100% RNG card in constructed.
Well done Kripp, hope you enjoy this shitty Tavern Brawl that we waited for 1/4 of a year.

I feel really sorry for both of u , if you find this mess anyhow funny. But its okey Nefarian or concede.
Also, they change the rules every week, so this means that you may find a Tavern Brawl week you love, next week we could make a deck with rules about what cards we can put in it, or maybe next week Dragon cards have an extra 3 health and Attack? Ok I love the backpack idea just saying
Sludge Belcher and Dr. Boom hands down.

I ran ogre brute in zoo. NA had not much cards :D but it was pretty good!!!!!

where did he find that ogre? i would play that ogre in facehunter... just wish it had charge though...
