So I’ve always wanted a storm trooper. Using these videos to learn. This one not only showed me key points but built some confidence in building something comparable with production shots
FANTASTIC, starting mine over xmas. After building TKs I want this to be true as you are the most accurate form of ANH, these are priceless to a truly accurate film replica thank you
Hi Eric, there are a couple out there. For us Brandon's Costume book is like a bible, but there is this other cool TK book out there. I find a link. No book is really a full on reference for TK's.....maybe we should write one?
So you’re saying screen accurate is to be not 100% accurate? If you read all the 501st detachments and CRLs this video is like a kick in their asses... am I right or what would you say?
The CRL is a list of requirements to gain access to a club. It is based on an agreed standard about what a costume was intended to look like on screen by the productions. Some screen accurate details may look unexpected to the “general public”. If the suit is to be 501st I think it’s fair to say not all screen accurate details are appreciated, but that’s the clubs view of things. The higher levels of the CRL allow for all of the better screen accurate details to be present whilst ensuring falling apart armour is not present. Full on replicas can be made for clients for there own personal ownership, this may however be at odds with the 501st. I think if you approach this with common sense you won’t go far wrong. The 501st CRL is not a negative thing in my opinion, just their rules set out.
@@RSPropMastersTV true words! I guess as long as you feel the force while wearing a stormtrooper costume, you have done everything right. Just don't let lord Vader read this please... ^^

Incredibly informative video . Well done guys. Screen accurate is best !
I bet some of those screen used suits would get rejected for the 501st.
Without doubt, which sounds silly but makes sense when explored.
SPREADING THE WORD 🤟🏻
loving this. absolute gems. love the shabbyness of the originals. yes
I love it also. It’s part of the magic of film making.
C-R-A-C-K-S . Greetings From Spain

@@RSPropMastersTV definitely should publish one, given your level of experience along with the interaction of artists and sculptors is in valuable :)
