I think episode 17 - "Dragon Knight's Shrining Moment" was the point where this series just went from funny character moments to something beyond. I absolutely adore Abathur stealing all the various kills and objectives.
the dragon knight episode is my personal favorite in all of Hero Storm ! it simply have every elements that actually occurs in them ! not protecting the healer, ganking, constantly kicking the same player , salty player staying at the core, aba last hittign stuff !

The list always had 200 candidates, that's the easiest part. Wouldn't be surprised if few of them got scrapped halfway done. Also, yeah Heroes is gonna be around for a very long time. Say what you will, but Blizz doesn't just "shut down" their games. Even stuff like Diablo 1 gets compatibility patches/can run on web browsers or they make deals with someone like GOG to make sure they always have a running port.
@@Difdauf they didn't shut it down really. They just took it out back and cut off its arms and legs, shot it in the frontal lobe then gave it back to us like "ha have fun with this NOW. Dare you! Also that'll be like 60$"
Well instead of hiring (or at least NOT firing) staff to develop their games, over the years Acti-Blizzard chose to give Bobby Kotick about $300M in bonuses while the majority of Blizzard franchises died off. So as you can see, Bobby got rich and the sacrifice was worth it.
I still can't stop laughing at NaziBo's Golem/Gargantuan that smacked that minion over and over like a dusty sock on the ground. I still remember the first time that I watched all those episodes good times.......
that spear of anoob firing animation is sooo bloody cool, its not just some *ship goes woosh* its whole mechanism readying to fire and it looks so well done :D

If they had just let the players and the devs enjoy the game, it would have grown, and the players would have started their own tournaments. Instead they tried to force it. It's still possible to see the game grow again if it gets enough attention from the players. CCL is also doing pretty well atm. The game isn't dead yet.
It is now 2021, and while we got sprays and portraits, the red tricicle is still not in the game. This is the exact reaason HotS is dead now, Blizzard.
I'm guessing there won't be new content around HotS which is fine btw! :) Thank you Carbot for bringing so much fun and joy to that game with your content from 2015 you are a legend! :D
