been waiting for this from zoom ! Thankss ! what about latency ??? i planning to use this to record to logic and also for live monitoring
For the AMS-22, can it record both the XLR input and the stereo 3.5mm line in simultaneously? (unlike the U-22) If so, can they be recorded to different tracks (1 mono XLR track & 1 stereo 3.5mm line in track)

I have a question
So if you have this connected to your Ipad, can you record video with the iPad camera while recording the audio coming from the interface directly to the iPad at once? I have all kind of gears in my house. I need something like I just described and I believe that's exactly what this interface offers. I just want to make sure. Thank you
The AMS interfaces can be use to record audio to your iPad while recording a video with the camera app.

I tried using the AMS-24 powered by batteries while connected to an iPhone, but iPhone doesn't recognize it; GarageBand doesn't show the monitor on/off toggle. Isn't the point of the battery to power the interface while using it with a mobile device like iPhone?

Just wondering, do these units work as independent line mixers as well (powered by batteries)? Or must they be connected to a PC, phone, or tablet and be used as an audio interface in order to get sound?
The AMS interfaces can work as standalone devices.

Why does it not connect to iPhone with a USB-C to lightning cable?
Can we always hear the sound played by the computer? For example, if we use the ZOOM AMS during a VoIP call?
So I can stream my plugins from Reaper with just a flick of a switch? No other software needed? Normal loopback devices do not work with DAWs and plugins. My Yamaha AG06 goes into loopback feedback noise. How is zoom different in that aspect?
As far as I know DAWs/standalone plugins/etc. will not let you send any audio without some third party software re-routing audio. Can't see how this is any different from Yamaha AG interface/
May I ask when will AMS series be launched in the market?
Hi, do I need to plug in headphones to be able to listen to the audio from my guitar or will it send audio signal directly on my pc speakers when loopback is activated?
I have VERY high expectations for this! I bought and returned an iRig Pro Duo today. It was such a piece of garbage and I can’t wait for companies like Zoom to release better products into the marketplace. Pre-ordering this weekend!

I cancelled my order because I learned after talking to my Sweetwater rep that I could use practically any audio interface with my iPhone if I just have the iPhone camera adapter. Has to be the apple brand, but it works! I use my zoom h4n pro as an interface with my phone. I run 2 lines (left and right) out of my computer interface running pro tools and straight into the zoom h4n. Then USB to the iPhone camera adapter and into my phone. Works like a charm and sounds great. Practically everything recent on my Instagram is done using this method if you’re interested in checking it out. You can also message me there if you’ve got any questions about this sort of thing, it can be confusing.
@@chrisw5742 also, see my other comment below this where Zoom replied to me and said even with this AMS interface you’d still need the apple camera to iPhone adapter thing. Unless your iPhone has a USB- C port which I guess some new ones do? Idk, I’m on an 8 plus.

@@chrisw5742 well if you don’t already have one,this one might be good. If you want one that is time tested and I think will work for both computer and smartphone, I would consider a focusrite scarlett.
I have loved zoom products in the past though. This one seems good, I just haven’t had my hands on it so I can’t say for sure.
I am using a zoom h4n as usb interface for connecting a single xlr condenser to my PC. Will AMS 22 / 24 give significantly better audio quality for my setup than h4n?

Will this come with the required cables for iPhone or will I need an adapter?
All AMS series interfaces come with a USB-C to USB cable. To connect it to an iPhone you would need Apple's official Lightning to Camera adapter.
Okay so this sounds good! I do have a question though. I'm looking for a device I can use to record my in-ear mix with talkback (jack or mini-jack output), but I'd like to do that while simultanioulsy recording video. And I want to do this using my Android Phone and I' not sure if this is doable using only 1 app. Are there any apps I could download to make this work with the Zoom AMS-22?
When using the loop back function of the AMS-22 to stream a mix of computer audio and mic audio, how do I adjust each volume?

Wondering AMS able to record directly into my iphone GarageBand?
The AMS interfaces can be used to record into GarageBand on iPhone.
Can this be used to make UA-cam videos? I currently use a Roland Go Mixer Pro-X. I want to plug in my bass guitar, headphones, a line out to my laptop for the music source and my iPhone for video and record the audio direct to video. Would that work?

I was REALLY hoping for 32 Bit Floating point... Tracking at same rresolution & auto leveling as the F8n Pro would have been far more worth it to raise the price tag. :-/

Yes, you can do this with any of the AMS interfaces.

Yes, you can use the AMS-24 with a camera. You can connect a cable from the one of the headphone out puts of the interface to the microphone input on the camera.

does loopback record pc audio as separate track?
PC audio is recorded to inputs 1 and 2 when the loopback switch is enabled.
