I have stood and talked to Doc, and learned as much as I could about this car, and watched it run and cruise with our club, and still, every time I see it, I learn something new about it.
Well, technically he did it when he retired from racing, so that's why he had the time to build it. It took him 50 years to get the time to do it, sounds unlucky to me!
Doc has so many great stories, and usually he has some piece of memorabilia to back the story up too, He's an old racer and they all seem to have great stories :).

I did see this car in Rhinebeck NY. I really liked it.
